wow massive prices, even though its very rare i couldnt justify spending that much on what looks like just a bland infantry trooper. especially without a big hat on his head! you dont pay �80+ to then go chopping it up lol.

Tony regular buys bulk lots from former GW staff and has possibly more contacts than anyone I know of. He is also one of the most prolific collectors out there of rare, unreleased, and in fact Citadel stuff in general.
“Hastings” is a regular on Warseer and clearly has an “in” somewhere. I don’t believe he works for GW himself.

if id won one of those i have re-cast a copy for myself and sold the original on again, at least that way it wouldnt be so expensive.
[edit] just to point out this is not something i do, and i know the legality of copyright prevents this, but in theory if you made your own private copy no-one would ever know, and your not hurting anyone if you only sell the original. well, anyone apart from GW apparently.
