Just a small update, the Herald is just about finished (i have decided that multiple nurglings are THEE most tedious things to sculpt)
I decided to go easy on the boils and such, i dont think you can see it on the pics, but theres alot going on underneath the palanquin, so i thought if i covered the herald in boils and such, it would make the peice too busy. But hey, the customer is always right, so if the guy wants them hes got 'em
And about the skink, i do think that it is something to do with the mouth, so that fill be fixed, and alos im doing a few ‘slight’ adjustments on the pose, so hes sort of reared up a little bit. I have tried to give him a more ellaborate crest, which is supposed to be a sign of Itzl, the Old One of beasts, but no matter what i try, it always looks stupid, but ill have a few tinkers around with it and see what comes up I was thinking for Tichi Huichi himself, ill give him an inflated throat pouch,maybe to make him stand out, but also in nature, the frog with the biggest throat pouch gets the ladies, so i thought he could be a bit of a stud-skink
Also, i’m off on holiday on saturday (sunny Rhodes here i come!), so im afraid that this post will be my last picture post for a while

P.S: About the smooth finish AGPO…you know what they say about knowledge is power However because i am generous, you tell me what AGPO stands for, and i shall indulge you with my secret, it sounds like a fair deal…
though the eyes on the dinosaur seems a little too evil to me. also i think you should add a little more lizardmen stuff to it like feather and glyphs.
Looking good to me! I’d have thought Nurglings might be a pain Individually, they’re not TOO difficult (even i could do SOMEthing…). Still, looking good. I hope the customer doesn’t spoil it too much I think maybe a small set of three buboes on the right collar bone might help, otherwise it’s fine so far.
I think the reared up idea is a good one, as the Tichi Huichi Raiders seem to be as well… The throat thing sounds good… Maybe give him a secondary fan crest around the back of his neck as well?
I only just got home at 10 this morning, so including some much needed shut-eye, i havnt had THAT much time to give you anything picture-worthy
However, as requested by the customer, i have added some more boils to Jabba, along with some potruding maggots for good measure
Tichi Huichi is coming along well, the cold one is basically finished, and the sculpting on the character himself is coming along nicely, im trying to sculpt him completely…but i may haveto steal a skink head, as i dont think im upfor that sort of detail just yet :~
And a project thus far unmentioned, a Chaos Dwarf BSB :hat
And of course there is GH7…butt im keeping that one a complete secret this time
Sounds good so far. I can’t wait for pictures and I’m glad you’ll enter GHVII. I think you’re capable of a skink head, but if you wish to play safe not a problem
I don’t think your skink rider is less characterful. He’s more serious and less comedic. I see that as a good thing. He fits into warhammer NOW, in it’s darker more gothic state.
Also, You should try Horned One Riders! now that the new book is bringing them into the fold. Are they going to release any horned ones? or will they have to be converted? Do you have any idea what a Horned One looks like? I’ve never seen them? I hear they are smaller and for skinks, no?
