the trooper:
1.xander:i still think he is the king of chaosdwarfs setting up this site and making the best sculping movies i have ever seen.
2.grimstonefire:GOD OF GREENSTUF
3.snotling and ishkur:cant choose their armies are but so cool.
but there are other nice armies that i forgot to mention.
i would love to play against one of these armies.
Canix:
I would say the figures inspired me and an old desire to complete my Chaos dwarf army .The site actually helps the passion to flow and inspired me to use GS and start converting figures .
Every army blog has a uniqueness that encourages me to give my army its own unique character even though based on 3rd /4th /5th edition models :hat off to all
Ishkur ,Xander,Snotling and Pulper have had a marked effect on me
Ishkur ,Amazing paintjobs (like mine if i became a god of painting)
Xander site and videos got me into greenstuff
Snotling Puppetier of Hashut nuff said
Pulper 3rd ed style BC
AGPO:
I would have to say that Xander inspired me with his videos and BfSP conversions to take up CDs because a) before I saw those I thought greenstuff was for golden daemon winners and filling gaps and b) I thought I’d been priced out of the hobby for good until BfSP gave me an affordable way of starting a new army.
Other than that the Golden Oldhat brigade (you know who you are guys!) who supplied me with all the old fluff I’d lost or forgotten and lastly everyone here for making this the best WFB forum on the web - its really kept me motivated having such a great place to post
Warlord:
Xander to a degree gave me the inspiration for using greenstuff and combining it with current ed plastic dwarves.
Like others, I thought GS for novices was only for filling gaps and making furry cloaks.
Other than that, I believe a lot of my ideas were already based, I just didn’t have the confidence in my skills to create it.
I have seen some great ideas on here, also, however I also believe I have come up with quite a few original ones of my own…
clam:
Yes! all the High Priests here (Xander, Grimstonefire, Snotling, Ishkur and many more) are certainly an inspirering crowd - and keep on motivate people to do there uppermost.
But as said in my introduction many months ago - Exquisite Evil (his showoff on Warseer and here at CDO) is what brought me from the grim darkness of the far future back to the Tower of Zharr Naggrund.
This is still one of Hashut’s finest:
And it’s sad, that we don’t see much of him arround here anymore!
Kera foehunter:
That is the best shield i ever saw… he my new hero!!!
minty:
everyone here realy, I came here as a rules developer and fluff writer trying to win a contest, well to HoH, since it was to write a CD list for the local club, but the energy, entertainent and everything of this site, definatly not HoH yawns*, drew me to want to join in, so I started a Dawi zharr army
*no offence to those who like HoH, i’m sorry but it is rather dull there
Nazhur:
Ishkur Cinderhat, he is my muse of forum members. Why you ask, well its several reasons. First is his very good paint work. Second of course his very good conversion but foremost reasons is that he is a follow of the hats. sometihng I like very much as I tihnk the big hats looks very good on our CD. Sadly very few this days see them and many want to get the mask. They of course looks good too but nothing like a big hat. So Ishkur Cinderhat is a rare muse that inspirer me a lot to contuie with my army
Willmark:
I now place Ishkur among my inspirations now as well. Even thou I’m not a fan of hats. Rather he has given me inspiration for my immortals (or at least the ideas I’m formulating for them).
When done they will most likely not look like anything he would do for his army, rather its a case of some of his concept art inspiring me to think in a different way as to how to apply it to my army.
