Are big hat bulltaurs too small for TOW bases?

Hello!

I’ve slowly been building my chaos dwarf force for The Old World. Nothing to post so far, as mostly they’ve just been black orcs since they’re the easiest to get.

But I also got this guy:

I feel like it’d be a great fit for the bull centaur tau’ruk! I’ll probably need to find a weapon for it but that should be fairly doable.

To use it in an army though, I’d also need a unit of bull centaurs. I got some Lost Kingdom STLs, but it looks like it will be bigger (?) than this guy so I’m considering the alternatives.

Of my other options, I’m partial to thhe old, metal bighat bull centaurs, but now I have the opposite problem - they look kind of small especially since the TOW base is 50x75mm.

So here’s my question: Are bighat bull centaurs too small-looking for TOW, or is it workable with some diorama work on the bases? Can I also ask for some pics of your bulltaurs alongside other chorfs?

Thanks!

Cheers, that is a mighty and very worthy model for a Taur’ruk!
As for the accompanying Bull Centaur Renders, yes the oldschool bighat Bull Centaurs are kind of small. Here people have already talked about it (including putting two on a single base) and there are some pictures.

Ooh thanks for the response! I missed the OG thread, and now I’m looking at it and the big hat bull centaurs are indeed too small.

I will consider the idea of putting two of them on each base - it will end up twice the cost, but I kind of like the idea of H’thark being the tired daddy to six bulltaur children. XD
