Looking good man! :eggplant::eggplant::eggplant:
Be careful with those small parts like the warts and the feather on the arrows as they probably wonā€™t translate well and shows the detail after printed, especially the one on the nose
Iā€™d thicken them up

Oh, thatā€™s a lovely Hobgoblin!
His pose, grimacing face and hat are so well executedā€¦and tendinitis?
Well that sucks, sorry to hear about thatā€¦take care of yourself, because Hashut deems you to sculpt more of his most favored souls.

So, Iā€™ve discovered a way to render my 3D model files so they look (sorta) hand painted. This is super fun, and incredibly useful to learn painting techniques, color planning etc. It is a super powerful tool! Letā€™s hope it doesnā€™t fall into the wrong handsā€¦

You could win a painting competition without lifting a brush. Kind of funny

Nah, Iā€™m too honest for that.
But I think Iā€™m improving at this fakery:

I had no idea that rendered 3D models could be ā€œhand paintedā€
:open_mouth:
Not sure if itā€™s cool or heresy.
But they do look greatā€¦the whip design on the goblin shield is perfect, because ā€œWhere thereā€™s a whip, thereā€™s a wayā€ :notes:

Itā€™s useless is what it is!
I canā€™t play games with jpgs!!!

But they may have a use as box-art.

I dont understand how you can do that and sculpt but not paint. Maybe a bit of perseverance is needed?

You know where the highlights should goā€¦

That last ā€˜paintjobā€™ is best so far

Lets see you copy that by painting. Interesting experiment

Why not?

Ai render isnt it?

Nono! No AI shenanigans involved. Itā€™s my 3D model, textured using various 3D painting software and photoshop. Can AI colorize stuff like this? If so, I would sure like to try!

Aaaahhh, blessed holiday peace. I got to make something Iā€™ve always wanted. The mystical ā€œFountain of restorationā€ as a terrain piece. And perhaps as a desktop water feature? If anyone recognizes the design: We are brothers.
