Many (many) years ago faithful followers of hashut - decided that the Ravening hordes 6th WF rules needed an updated and wrote army books for the Chaos Dwarves. Some VERY clever people also produced the PDF hard copy book for Legacy Armies (I got one print for myself and a gift for a friend - absolutely bloody brilliant)! Which leads me finally to my point - is anybody writing an Arcane Journal for Chaos Dwarves? There could be some very fun narrative army compositions - such as ‘Slaver Force’ (fast moving) or a Hobgoblin Fodder army - in army composition can only be lead by a Black orc or Khan. All the dynamics to play with between CD, Black orcs and hobgoblins to creat problems for a CD player. Maybe clarifications that an Infernal Castellan can ride a Taurus!

CD’s only artillery being allowed to fire into combat if a slave unit of Hobgoblins is in combat with an enemy - but - all Hobgoblin units that havre line of slight to the CD’s action must take a break test at their lowest model leadership (i.e a Khan cannot stop a unit running). Though the unit can rally on the higher leadership.

Maybe a Castellan Mining Master - a loner hero who can burrow (like dwarf miners or a Tomb King Scorpion?

A rare choice unit in an ‘Overlords Army’ a mixed shooting unit. Think combination or motley crew rule and High Elf Sea Guard. So a CD unit 0-1 per 1000 points can combine 50% Blunderbuss and 50% Fireglaive??

Maybe a cheap hobgoblin wizard? But as the CD’s hate the thought of hobs getting too powerful at the end of the game - IF the wizard is alive the opposing player gets the wizards points on the basis the CD’s would execute the discovered wizard??
Just random thoughts but just wondering if anybody has one other ideas would love to heard them!
