So… i used to keep a blog back in the day, which I haven’t updated in almost a decade (plus, CDO was on a different server host). Truth be told, I painted lots of Chaos Dwarfs in these years! So… let’s start anew, shall we?

Here’s my Iron Daemon, converted from an Armorcast Khorne Cannon:

It turned out ok I guess, but it just doesn’t convey my idea of an Iron Daemon. I actually prefer Forgeworld’s model, probably because it has that steam train vibe that I find so iconic! Still, it will eventually get a base :wink:

So… i took on a big commission, which involves conversions, infantry, monsters, warmachines… a decently sized amy!

Let’s begin with the Prophet on Lammasu:

I was never fond of this model but after painting it, it grew on me! The base is made with sculpey, whether braziers and flames are sculped out of green stuff!

The Lammasu’s skin is painted following Anvil of Doom’s awesome tutorial.

The Cannon is very well done, and the paint work looks incredible. Likewise the Lammasu is very impressive. Welcome back!
