Tutorials will happen this side of Christmas, but they have to be delayed instead of being made soon. I have received Hobgrot sprues at a bargain, but there is no mojo for it now. Explanation below:
Summary
Recent lawyer-induced disasters to a slew of Warhammer fan artists and a particular gang of animators of golden content (provided you could roll with their humour) has left me disturbed and somewhat stunned and strangely indifferent to the hobby, in a way the replacement of WHFB never had a chance of doing back in 2015. As someone who has dedicated his life to learning and freewheeling creativity, and to encourage it in others, certain recent events has went through a select golden flora of artists and animators like a scythe, and threaten to end more still. It is a catastrophe for the creative Warhammer community.
This disturbed composure will be regained in due time. I’m spending time outdoors, picking berries, visiting kith and kin, and forgetting about the wider world in general for however many days it may take to shake off the worst. After that I’m going to continue recording videos and saving artworks like the end of a brilliant civilization has come. Mayhap tutorials will happen in tandem to this.
A thricefold curse upon modern IP mania. Antiquity’s complete lack of copyright protection is preferable to the current state of things. And I frankly do not care if anyone copies or recasts my art or sculpts for clandestine profit. I’m tired unto death of IP mania destroying beloved creativity.
Nevertheless, I look forward to see what you cook up here. Or in the Golden Hat.

Don’t let the bastards get you down. Your creativity and energy is one of the most powerful forces we posses here.
You say youre a “competition monkey” but I ain’t alone in saying you’re basically our spiritual liege here on CDO especially to us joiners from the last three years or so. So take a break dude. But don’t lose heart.
This golden hats gonna be such a celebration of the creativity we are all about here. Seeing what these nutty Hashut heads will get you your mojo back. Guarantee it.
And creativity can’t be squashed like that man. Creatives need to create. It’s like releasing steam from a boiler. Fuck IP. The hobbyists own the hobby. The artists own the art. CDO owns chaos dwarfs.

Yeah, I really look forward to see all the stuff folks here will cook up, and I hope to enter something little as well.
Oh, and no one is ever getting rid of me easily. Dwarfs are constant, stubborn and set in their ways. I’m just momentarily dazed, far from knocked out. No pesky lawyers can kill my love for this hobby, try as they might.
