I’m working on my Fellwater Troggoths today but they’re proving a little tricky, so I decided to take a break and paint up the two Khorne Berzerker Champions I assembled a while back.
I needed to paint the new parts to match the existing paint - I didn’t think it would be easy, but it turns out that if you use layer paints over a black undercoat you get terrible coverage no matter how hard you try! Although I quite like the effect I’ve managed on their faces. It’s just layering for the most part but I added a dot of Gor-Grunta Fur contrast paint in the eyes and it gives them a lovely “glazed and insane” look, despite the fact that I don’t paint eyes.
Just for fun I freehanded their unit markings to see if I’ve still got it:
I’ve not tried the World Eaters logo before, I quite like it!
