I do posters for a Seattle event a couple of times a year, and after seeing that one Hashut fanart and with the release of the new book, I knew what I had to do
Usually I do B&W illustration, but chose pixel art this time for color

Really dig the colors and presentation here. The way he’s levitating with all the vapors makes me think he appears kind of like some evil chaos “djinn”, which is pretty appropriate with the middle-eastern designs chorfs tend to have.

I remember that Ushoran piece! I think I’ve seen your stuff on reddit before.
You basically draw how I wish I could draw, with a sort of old-school pen & ink fantasy illustration look, with that hatching-style shading. Reminds me of a lot of 80-90’s metal & fantasy artwork, as well as things like Berserk.

I’m self-taught- I started freelancing really early and kept picking up things. Your words are too kind! Honestly I owe alot to the cool IPs that inspired me to get into game design- without everything that came out of Japan in the 90’s + golden age fantasy/scifi art I would be much less of a person

Being a jack of all trades, and obviously a master of fucking none, I always try so many things and never specialised in anything
As you can see if you open that link of the library, all those faces icons that pop up have a growth curve in the style and look.
