It’s starting to get to that part of the year where I need to make some sweeping moves to get into net negatives, let alone achieve my goals for the year. That’s going to mean some more low-effort projects interspersed with stuff I actually put energy into.
One such low effort project has been completed this evening, the pile of Zone Mortalis barricades I’ve accumulated from the two big Necromunda boxes I bought last month:
They got a lot of pre-work in the priming stage, with me dancing around the priming station making various assays in black, brown, and steel.
In the end, though, I decided to hide most of that with dark brown craft paint and then roughly splatter successively more-orange layers on, before finishing up with some steel detailing and a little sponge weathering to add some depth back.
Sometimes you’ve got to experiment to realise you don’t need to experiment, you know?
A productive afternoon, and eighteen off the pile, which brings me back under a hundred!
