Fabelzel long toyed with the idea, our own members have tried their hands at it, but at last it’s coming for the masses…
After much preparation I’m excited to announce that I will be partnering with Fabelzel himself to bring his original sculpts to market in metal!
Sure, you could always print them for free yourself. Yes, you could already pay others to print them for you. But now they’re in metal! And that’s important, you know. For people who think that kind of thing is important.
The first round will be up for sale in the coming months with fabz sharing in all profits. This isn’t a limited run either, they will be available as long as we are.

A note on community remixes: Right now this is limited to fabelzel’s original work. If there is a particular remix or set of remixes you’d especially like to see let me know! If I get enough interest I’ll reach out to the remixer and try to work something out between the three of us.

How’s this project shaping up? It’s been a few months and I’m sure i’m not the only one chomping at the bit!

Slower than anticipated, but coming along nonetheless!
bogwyrm miniatures is set to launch in just a couple weeks. After that our fabz lines will be the first additions, probably in early August. We already have some masters cast so there’s no going back now!
One thing I’m weighing is whether to run it as kickstarter or not. It’s great for reach and would allow us to start with more lines than if we self-fund, but I am wary of attracting too much attention. They also eat a pretty good chunk of the earnings (and so increasing costs/pricing). So I’m torn. Interested to hear people’s thoughts on this!

Great stuff ! I’ll keep an eye on this project, it is a great time to be a chaos dwarf enjoyer.
As for your question, well … it is more an organic internal growth versus external growth type of question. This is a business decision at the end of the day and it entierly depends on your personnal philosophy. Can the kickstarter be started after the initial batch ? I’m not quite familiar with crowdfunding.

Lovely models, and in metal no less. It is not as if I need more Chaos Dwarfs, but if I have available funds when this goes live, this will be very tempting regardless. I best start painting some of my backlog to make room.
