My dark brethren

Then we shall conquer their lands and turn it into a coal mine!

Finishing a whole unit always feels extra good!

Crossing off another half-finished project, as I’ve now done the bases for my motley crew of infernal guard/ironsworn. I still have plenty more of these guys to paint, though. (One day I’ll be able to run one whole block with HW/S and another with GW.)

Love these. Those 2 handed guys are awesome.

Thanks! I really like them too but they break very easily. He updated the files (right after I had them printed) so maybe they are a bit better now.

I played a game against Dark Elves this week, focusing on fluffier elements but it went so horribly bad. It was probably the worst I have played in a very long time. And my dice were cursed. I am still a bit annoyed haha. Anyway, here’s a picture:

These guys will be sacrificed at Hashut’s altar for failing to do their job, as with everyone else who took part in this disaster.

Progress has been rather slow lately, but finally another Bull Centaur joins the force!

Finished painting the unit champion/Taur’ruk. He will play his first game tomorrow against an allegedly horrible Beastmen list!

Keep us posted about the battle !

Great result on the Tauruk champion, he looks fantastic !

Thank you!

Turns out it wasn’t Beastmen but Orcs and Goblins. He had maxed out on our local comp system whereas I hadn’t. (I actually think it’s impossible to do that with Chaos Dwarfs, but anyway.) He had a wyvern, wizard lords with plus to cast, black orcs, lots of fanatics and other random movers, and a doom diver.

I had my Castellan on Bale Taurus, some dwarfs, hobbos, two bolt throwers, two Iron Daemons, and two Taur’ruks. So yeah, also a pretty hard list.

We didn’t have time to finish the game but we agreed that I would probably have ended on top, although not by a large margin.

Thematically great, Chaos Dwarf putting greenskins rebellion back to work in the forges and mines. With the helps of our traitors hobgobelin.

Sounds perfect !

I finally had time to assemble these guys from Knightmare Miniatures - really stoked to see how they look once painted.

Always great to see a pile of ‘lead’ all setup on a big square base

I really like how the weapons are pointing out in all different directions when you line the guys up, adds to the Chaos

These five guys will be my last models painted in 2025. Happy new year and praise Hashut!

Starting off 2026 with some good games of Warhammer TOW. Tonight I had a fun game against some Tzeentch-themed Warriors of Chaos, and Yesterday I played a few games of Battle March (750 pts), trying out the Dwarfen Expeditionary Force for the first time.

A big project this year will be to revisit my traitorous dwarfs; to paint some remaining models, including a nice old box of metal thunderers, to give them all magnets and a proper case for transporting. But maybe that’s for another thread (or forum :hat: )…

Having finished these goblins from Knightmare Miniatures, I am tempted to order another batch.

Great stuff! I just LOVE the fact that you’re using the old Night Goblin models; last gobbos ever to have PROPER noses!

Yes I also love this kit, plus it was conveniently available as a TOW box. And yes, I can almost grab the models by the nose to pick them up :joy:
