The biggest thing to happen for Chaos Dwarfs since the TWW DLC. Chaos Dwarfs, Hobgoblins and Bull Centaurs. Proper curled beards.

NOVA BB ChaosDwarfs Aug29 Team

NOVA BB ChaosDwarfs Aug29 Hobgoblins

NOVA BB ChaosDwarfs Aug29 Blockers

These new fellas are called Flamesmiths:

These are Sneaky Stabbas:

Note the Bull Centaurs will be Forge World resin sold separately - and likely not cheap.

Looks to me like an excellent kit with many options for direct use and even more for conversion.

A new concept of chaos dwarfs who drink potions and spit fire. Some great goggles.

10/10, what great news.

It has been a long time, but this old fanged beard will be pre-ordering from GW it seems soonish

I’m not complaining, but the hobgoblin aesthetics continue to be erratic. This is clearly the CA concept, where they’re very much just some slightly lankier goblins. They look all roughly dwarf height. Still, I prefer them to the hobgrots.

Sorry, couldn’t resist :see_no_evil:

I am fanboying pretty hard on these. There is no way to know whether those bulls would “fill” a monstrous cavalry base, is there? Cause I loathe the Legion of Azgorh design and kind of dig these

Madness. I’d said for a while our best chances of getting plastic chaos dwarfs was via blood bowl but I’d kind of stopped thinking it would ever happen!

Very cool release. Ripe for conversions. The guys drinking lava from a teapot would need most work imo. Most others are easy to make whfb minis out of

Can’t decide if I want to start collecting a blood bowl team or use them for conversions now, they look excelllent.

No, I don’t know who or what this is :dotted_line_face:

I always liked how in lore IIRC hobgoblins have perpetual sneers on their faces, but all the hobgoblin models I’ve seen make them look very grumpy. Only normal goblins ever have smiles.

Archer, from the show Archer on Netflix. The ever consummate alcoholic spy. It’s actually a great show

I can get only this erect
That fire drinker dude will love problematic due to the silhouette, but the rest fits well with 2024 work

Glad we are back guys

It’s a bit of a shame that the BCs are resin (and that one looks like he is about to faceplant after slipping over on a ball) or otherwise they would make decent Render conversion material. At least they are two different sculpts, albeit mostly a mirror and repose.

Nice industrial standard welding goggles

The style is the same as we see it in WHTW 3 for the demon smiths.

Gotta say I’m bothered by the fact they put out the outcome of drinking that potion in a drawing, while we got that extremely static double miniature
Looking forward to see them for my birthday still hauahau

…the fact that that they are wearing armored shoes with laces cracks me up.

BB models are usually on 32mm bases, some bigger models like S5+ are 40mm. Bull Centaurs, at least were, S4 so would be on 32mm I assume.

Edit: Hmm, had another look and they do seem to be on a bigger base don’t they? So probably 40mm.

Will they have new rules?
