well… as a not so impartial judge i do have to vote for Metric. It just makes sense in a mathematical way. Sure, imperial makes sense too, of you compare stuff… well sorta…
i never really got the fact that an inch is the smallest unit of measurement.
Like 0.5mm vs 0.0196 inch. or 1mm vs 0.0393701 inch. Maybe im just not used to anything other than metric but it just feels much simpeler.

But wargaming is done in this inches. I played a warband that used cm once and it felon strange haha
Although I believe @tjub has used inches to centimetres conversion for his 15mm KOW games.
A weird one about most war games:
That model is 28mm tall and on a 25mm base. How far does he shoot? Oh 12 inches? Such a mix up

I play wargames with the playing field on the floor so I can measure with my actual foot. Adds to the immersion having a giant walking around checking range…

nnnngh not entirely true. i played Confrotnation for many many years, and being a french game it’s in cm (the 1st one coming to my mind ofc)
i remember in our old store, we had a carpenter playing empire at start, then khorne. oh. really. with those fucking trabuchets he was precise at the millimeter.
most of the times we esteemed with cm. goddammit Ivan the carpenter could eyeball everything with cm and destroy us xD he could snipe heroes inside units lol that was unreal

Fun inches anecdote - one of the reasons Napoleon has a reputation for being short is because a French inch is larger than a British one; he was 5’3” in French measurements so Brits heard that and thought he was short, but in British units that was actually 5’7”, which was above average for the time.

chaos 2 has some rust on it, i thought would look more interesting 
while the more realistic one if you guys might like better, could do it plain
