Was hoping to get something painted before first purchase. Alas, the grey mist has settled over the bog and entrapped many, sinking under the weight of metal.
I’m in the Bogwyrm campaign for an army pack but expect to keep the character, command, and one regiment.

Excited to see the support for metal chaos dwarfs! I’ll await them eagerly and force myself to commit some infantry regiments to contest prizes.
In the meantime, I have been painting. Nothing too exciting but I hope to be in the negatives soon.

Finished these full sets of board game minis for Tokaido and Namiji. Namiji boats were partially pre-painted but I’m snagging the credit for finishing up the paint job.
Pretty chill gateway board games. I’ll be looking forward to revisiting them now the minis are visually distinct.

Finished a fun side quest. Only took a couple hours and a broken air compressor that will certainly hamper my painting for a bit. I’ve got loads of man o war bases to do before I’m reading for more priming so hopefully I’ll stay productive.

It doesnt seem to me that you have many models left to paint! You could pretty much finish them this year!
If you had a resin printer all these figures would be a meaningless in that you cant keep track.
I do think you need to buy a lot more models..you are getting dangerously low!
If you think about it, buying models now might be the cheapest they will ever be (with inflation and all). Little companies closing and lines ceasing production. Its kind of like an investment for the future. If world war 3 happened and you had to stay at hime for a few yrs you would need to stockpile. Pro-grey i guess.
I appreciate you looking out for my hobby well-being. Fortunately, thanks to the mighty BATG graphs, I now have 5 years of data to lean on from years that I would consider peak hobbying.
In the last 5 years I have averaged:
150.8 painted models per year
-35 net shame per year
So given my current backlog.. either:
~3 years painting without buying a single model and I could possibly run out.
Or
~13 years of painting at my current net pace.
In the grim darkness of my near future, there is only math.
The great god Math also tells me that I’ll paint zero minis if I don’t spend my near term hobby budget on a new air compressor.. so there’s that.

Best twist of that quote ever! I’m pretty sure I will finish my collection somewhere in 2189. I have been seriously thinking about tallying my collection and doing similar “math”, but I fear the result would mean I must spend the next decade delving into life extending pseudoscience, or mean that Ihave to learn to paint faster (the former is more likely).
