Key Highlights:
Orc Warboss vs. Chaos Lord: The Orc Warboss, mounted on a Wyvern, delivered a standout performance by defeating the Chaos Lord after three rounds of intense combat. Note the Chaos Lord got the charge. This victory was significant, as it removed a primary threat from the Warriors of Chaos and demonstrated the Warboss’s durability and combat prowess.
Hobgoblin Cutthroats: The massive block of 59 Hobgoblin Cutthroats, armed with shortbows, proved difficult to maneuver effectively. They managed to hold off the Dragon Ogres and Forsaken for three rounds but ultimately broke after failing a critical Leadership test, fleeing off the battlefield. The large size of this unit made it cumbersome, limiting its effectiveness in the shooting phase and making it difficult to shift when facing powerful enemies.
Iron Daemon with Bolt Thrower and Sorcerer-Prophet: The Iron Daemon played a crucial role in the battle, primarily using its Steam Cannonade and Bolt Thrower attachment to take down key characters, including the Exalted Champion and Shaggoth. The addition of the Bolt Thrower enhanced its ability to deal with heavily armored and high-value targets from a distance, making it a versatile and formidable unit.
The Sorcerer-Prophet, who was equipped for both combat and magic, performed adequately. Also magic resistance (4) is probably overkill. However, the hybrid setup limited his potential in both areas. In future battles, focusing on making him a dedicated wizard with a shift towards Daemonology could improve his effectiveness in providing strategic buffs and debuffs.
Black Orc Mob: The Black Orc Mob, with only 12 models, struggled in this game. Their small size left them vulnerable, and despite being given Frenzy, they failed a key charge and were subsequently fled from the Dragon Ogres. Allowing them
To overrun into the Hobgoblins so no stand and shoot reaction. They went back in the combat but didn’t do much tbh.
Increasing their unit size or reevaluating their deployment would be essential to prevent similar outcomes in future engagements.

Note, my opponent did realise after the game that you can’t have the Mark of Undivided and another Mark. This is an army builder which you have to manually untick. One to check to avoid a reroll on leadership which is significant with other Marks.
