Oh sorry I meant a gigantic spawn. I built a simulation with Claude and the elixir of power and if the wyvern can get the charge off first that extra attack and wounding on 2+ really shifts the odds to killing it by the beginning of your next turn (assuming Waaagh here goes off as well):
Prob Blorck on Wyvern with GW kills gigantic spawn of Nurgle with Waaagh (Round 1/2) and Furious Charge (Round 1) and Choppas (Round 1).
Interesting no irondeamon… In playing 1x10 sneaky gits whole year, And they are pretty good. and will have 2x10 for nexts tournaments, but 35 in one unit? What a hell
I foresee masses of players whipping multitudes of the indomible gits into massive lots, only to realize that now that the Italian list is out, 6 counters for every army have been made to render it obsolete.
Still, I think units of 15 / 20 and a second of 10 / 15 wouldn’t be a bad idea. I have the models, I just need to paint them… I’m kinda burned out though at the thought of that slog fest.
I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t talk much about this list in that video. It would have been interesting to hear how it’s played because I’m clueless.
I honestly wish I could have seen at least one game with that list in action. Because I don’t get how it works. To me cheap units just die in droves. So what is he doing that makes the list win?
70 / 40 / 20 ranged attacks… That doesn’t suck. Just sayin’. Tarpits are great too when you have taurus and lammasu. Speed is better than dwarfs and point cost is negliable compared to Chorfs. I think people would underestimate this too, because it is greenskins. Just my best guesses on why this worked. I didn’t see the match.
It’s unclear if the AB from the Lamassu affects breath weapons. The FAQ has confirmed AB works for stomps/impact hits and does not work for any magic spells. So breath weapons are an open question. At a tournament I would ask the TO in advance.
Why is the amour bane in question? The upgrade says the breath is st4 AP 2. I dont know the rules well enough to know what ranged is and isnt allowed to have special rules wise. But the upgrade says very specifically that it’s AP2
AP2 is not in question. But how AB affects non-standard attacks (eg magic missiles, impact hits, etc) has varied in the FAQ. Breath weapons have not been officially clarified.
What is really funny, is that the AB and furious charge of the Lammasu apply to the rider. You can create some FUN combinations with this, albeit not the most effective ones.
