Here is the finally completed AssCannon by Atom Taylor with diorama-base. I really like the final result!

The base really adds a lot to the model, nice one!

I like that ass cannon model, the face is very charismatic

I am in the process of building new bases for my AssCannons. I think it’s going to look pretty cool! :taurus3:

Other than that, I need to finally finish the giant, but somehow I can’t get the hang of it, I don’t know how to paint it. Let’s see, hopefully I’ll think of something …

Very nice. Your scenic bases really add a lot to the models. Hope the demon cannon doesnt run amok too often for you and leave your scenery behind!

And now my giant proxy! I actually wanted to “throw” it into the GH race, but since the magician has already taken part in a competition and the shooter is an emissary of the first generation (unfortunately I don’t remember who), the model could not take part. So here are the pictures!

That is a cool model though! very lovely!

Nicely painted. I think you could have gotten away with entering this in the golden hat. This looks a bit like the dune (film) worms. Very cool

I gave the crossbow unit a new unit filler. I like the copter with the two crossbowmen better than the mounted Chaos Dwarf.

Although I have no motivation to paint, I have at least finished the missing regimental bases for the Bull- / Boar-Centaurs. :metal:

Now come the new mercenaries for the army of the “Lizard King”, the Fimir! I always found the Fimir very cool, but the original models just too expensive. Since I am also no hero in modeling, I had to search long in the depths of the Internet, until I found suitable miniatures!

Here now painted and ready based:

Great work @Zanko !!! I have a small fimir warband myself. Love those models

It would be great if they returned for the warhammer old world. They and zoats are some of the most mysterious races in warhammer. They look great btw.

I see it the same way! There was a fanzine from 2010 that had a very nice army list for Fimir, but for 40 x 40 mm bases. The new GW Fimir in the Monstrous Arcanum had a 50 x 50 mm base, maybe you could adapt the list …

I realized yesterday that I have painted the last Dawi Zharr, so I will finish the last regiment (for now).

After that I still have 2 lizards and their riders to paint, maybe one or two war machines and a giant for SAGA-AoM.

Then I have to look for new models … but so far I have not found anything suitable. But “hope dies last”!

Oh man, having no models to paint, I wonder what that feels like :cd1991gif:

Im waiting patiently to see what you are going to do with that beasthandler and hounds from ralpartha.

Cpmodels, norba, mom miniatures, helm resin prints…

What you mentioned is my fear–》 Running out of suitable models to collect.

Or you could do a slightly larger scale and do mantic abyssal dwarves. They dont have quite the same character imo though. Or do a …ahem…hats…army…convulsive coughing fit…

I saw a really cool dwarf army on facebook using the chaos dwarf army list.

You could revisit the slaves portion of the army (i know you gave them all away). Maybe a different take on them.

If none of these appeal, what next? Squats, halflings, chaos, gobbos? Chaotic depraved halflings as slaves?

The Beasthandler and the Ral Partha Beasthounds are painted and I am currently basing them. Photos should follow at the weekend.

As for painting and tinkering, I will not be bored. Next I will rebase my old dwarves from Grenadier, designed by Nick Lund - which are my absolute favorite dwarves - for SAGA - AoM.
Then I still have my old Slann models (3rd edition) which want to be repainted.
And I still dream of a small Fimir troop, which I think would make excellent allies for the Chaos Dwarves.

Also, hopefully more classic Dawi Zharr will be released in the near future. Then I will be able to raise more units, even though I will probably need a new cabinet.
Speaking of which … I should do a count of my Dawi Zharr sometime, I have no idea how many my closet houses!
