The “head” of the weapon looks really big. Maybe i will cut them off and will fix it with beastman/marauder/warrior weapons.

cool this helps a lot thankyou, not sure how I missed these have been doing a lot of searches recently for ‘great weapons’ on ebay. maybe because he is in France or something. You are right those are huge! I kind of like them though! They certainly are great weapons! Interesting to see they are left handed ones as well, I think they rank up on left to right but forward to back will be very hard with those weapon heads, you are right maybe swap them.

My Realm of Battle Earthworks has arrived today along with the Skullcracker mentioned in the general discssion forum, I am really impressed with the quality and level of detail of the board. Apologies for the shaky out of focus cell phone pic. I will be sure to chronicle the work done on this in much greater detail.
Now my CD warmachines have a nice place to hide. It can double up as a display board too for photography and showing it all off. I hope to add a second eventually so I am not restricted to using it on a corner. Interested to see how it tiles up with the GW realm of battle sections. I am very tempted by the FW Necron Tomb one too as it looks very Ziggurat-esque with some minor tweaks would make a great Zharr Nagrundian outpost, but I had to restrain myself =)

Struggling to find time for painting at the moment… Been working on the 150x100mm Defiled Realm base from Base-x-of-War. I figured it was a great piece to practice learning some new techniques on. This is the first time I have used Windsor and Newton Inks, the first time I’ve attempted to do 2 brush blending on layers, and the first time I’ve tried doing OSL . Once I fill the pools in with clear resin it will also be the first time I’ve used that. And the first time I’ve painted obsidian (the flagstones) so really trying to push myself a lot to learn new things and improve. So far this base has had about 6 hrs go into it and is still only just starting to take shape. The black areas of lava need more blending and probably enlarging a bit. And all round needs a lot of tidying up, and the metal and stone areas haven’t been started yet, except for some OSL from the pools. Excited to see it when its filled with clear resin! The hope is to look like lava with faces/shapes bubbling below and on the surface…

R.Skullz - So far no, the K’daai is the only big centrepiece. The FW Earthworks battle board I bought kinda counts as a big fun project but it wont get done until very last.
I have the following in my collection, I am guessing it will take me a few years to get it all done…going for that 10K medal! I’m moving to the USA in March 2015 so will have to transport some of it there.
