With this little beardy guy i finished the first 1000 points of painted chaos dwarfes. I´m not very happy with how he turned out, but i didn´t get the right inspiration for him... :~ :

melcher bud I tend not to use games workshop washes as I personaly think there a huge waste of money. What I do use is floor wax mixed with a complimentary paint colour in a 10/1 mix as some people would use a army dipping agent

Hmm...one of my friends used this method with floor wax and the results were a little bit to "gleamy"..but maybe he just didn´t had the right mix?

I´m making process…a little bit slow, but i hope to finish two more units/a few more guys until the end of august, to field an 2250 points army. The next step in order to reach that is my finished rocket-launcher (OF DOOOOOMM x.x ): 
Its made from the empire-sprue for the Volleygun/Hellblaster. One crewman still needs some paint.
For the tourney i consider wheter to paint 5 more blunderbusses to field an solide 15 dwarf strong unit and use the free points for an unit of 20 orcs or to just go straight and spend the points and therewith the time to paint on a third unit of 20 warriors :o

I plan to participate in a tourney in august and i´m not sure what kind of list i should field. To give myself some more options regarding lord-choices, i´m working on my great taurus general at the moment. The model itself is WIP since…maybe 8 months? puh…time to finish that beasty 
This is a picture from the taurus, how it looked like the last couple of months:
Not very impressive, hmm? Its a metal balrog from LotR with some fur on the back, a new head (from the BoC chariot) and bend down (?) arms. I actually had to find a new right arm, cause the original one was missing (the replaced arm is from the old chaos warriors sprue…).
My plan is to work one hour each day before work and while my two little girls are still sleeping. The result of the first day:
I added more fur to beef up the neck and to hide the cutting edges on the arm. Next steps are:
- add some scales below the edges where the fur ends
- add spikes on the tail-ring
- cut up the feet and and hooves :o
I really hope to finish the modell ´til the tournament.
