Ishkur and myself are both collecting WoC, as many of already know from Ishkurs awesome Wulfrik and Warriors posts, but are admittedly not getting much done recently. So we decided to combine forces and start a thread to showcase the progress of both armies. This is not competition (thank god!) just an idea to try get us painting and posting again on a somewhat regular basis
The way it will work is simple, we will both select a regiment or character to work on and set ourselves a deadline to get the finished pics posted in this thread, this way we will build up the army quickly and at the same time hopefully post some pretty cool pics
The first regiment chosen by both combatants is…
Marauder Horsemen!
The deadline to get the regiment of Marauder Horsemen is 3 weeks, given that it’s a entire regiment and we both have other commitments we think this should give us half a chance to get some decent mini’s done.

Heard about this in the corridors - and I’m really looking forward seeing what you two can come up with.
So what can we expect?
Have you guys made up armylists for what you are going to field/build - or is it more, like a traditional games tale where you are building first a 500 point skirmish army and then expand to like 1000, 1500 … - or is it more like “this is a cool model” - I’ll convert/paint it up - type of quest.
And then I must say that you have given this ‘blog’ a very promising kick off - now lets see some more - shall we

Right mate, let’s get this started! My marauder horsemen might be a bit more traditionally based so far - but they are primed already. ^^
Formal deadline for the painted regiment is Feb 4th. I’m sure there is enough time, maybe we can even finish our stuff earlier.
Our plans for this are that we generally agree to one regiment or miniature, then build and paint them to a set deadline. Right now there is no armylist behind my work (yet), as I primarily want to finish the miniatures from the speartip. We might modify this to a more generic “army standard bearer” or “sorceror model” for future entries, but at first we want to finish some bulk troops, don’t we Grash. ^^

So you are basically doing A Tale Of Two Gamers, like they do over on heresy online. Hopefully this will motivate more than just yourselves. Im looking forward to seeing what you will both come up with.

Obviously, I have been painting to the last minute and more obviously the light is really bad now. I might need to make additional pictures in daylight to show some more details. In any way, I’m one unit closer to a painted Chaos Horde! ^^
Only thing I got was pots, pans, flowers and some art work :(
- getting all of this - when all you needed is more miniatures, a decent camera and a new computer - marriage really is a waste of money - now isn't it? :D
