The detailing work is well worth the effort. You’ll have a unit to be proud of for many years to come!
Bloodbeard:
Love how you've brought the bull back with those K'daii, can't wait to see them finished :)Thank you. I try to get the bull into as many things a possible. And the K'daii should definitely be bull like only fitting that they resemble Hashut.

Nice K'daii conversions, looking forward to seeing them finished :)Thanks. Will be some time before they are painted.

Yodrin:
Yes, great progress. LF to seeing these bad girls painted…
Fuggit Khan:
Your Fireborn are awesome…and they’re big! I had not realized just how big they are until I saw the photo of one of them next to a Chaos Dwarf (true, Dwarfs are short…).
I love that they are so big, adds to the flair of them being daemons…and I really like your Destroyer coming out of a portal, nice way to capture him being ‘summoned’ to heed the will of his Dawi Zharr masters.
Great stuff :hat off
MadHatter:
Really cool idea with the portal, I also like the choice of model
Is that portal greenstuff?
Sticklander:
Those fireborn truly represent the chaotic nature of fire made flesh! Really looking forward to seeing them painted!
Ambitious work on the destroyer! I hope to see a battle report between you and the Bretonnians!
Admiral:
I second the praise. Great progress. I’m surprised the superglued toilet paper fire turned out that good.
Bloodbeard:
Thanks for all the praise and nice words my fellow dawi zharr. Nice to get some compliments. Especially living in a small town, I don’t get to see the boys that often anymore. So knowing somebody is apriciating the stuff that I do is very nice.
I sure do appreciate all the other blogs on the site. Thanks.
Really cool idea with the portal, I also like the choice of modelNo, the green part is some kind of foam plates. It’s super cheap and bought at a hardware store. Used under wooden floors. The great thing is that it’s holds any lines you pres into it with a pencil. Is that portal greenstuff?

Had my 6yo boy at the game, so didn't take notes or pictures. Wanted to make the game smooth and involve him as much as possible. ... I will write something up - but the battle went totally bad.

Zanthrax:
Destroyer looks ace- looking forward to seeing him painted up.
Fuggit Khan:
I love your painted banners…always cool to see banners that were inspired by the old school banners from the original 4th edition army book. Nice choice of colors on them, the colors keep a really nice ‘unified’ look to your Dawi Zharr :hat off
Bloodbeard:

S'all good, it comes off well! :DFeel free to "steal" all you want. That's the whole point of the blogs I think. I've sure have taken in a lot of inspiration!
Ah, do you think it was the influence of an unexperienced Dawi Zharr general that made the odds turn against you? ;) haha
That is some amazing free hand work on those banners! Both of them are great!
And the destroyer is coming along nicely. Might have to steal the ghorgon and stonehorn head idea!
Sticklander
Destroyer looks ace- looking forward to seeing him painted up.Thanks. He properly wont get finished until april.

A lot of the newest 8th ed miniatures i don't like.

tjub:
Looks great, maybe a little darker on the edges of the flames. Your concept turned out great!
Dînadan:
Agree with you that there’s something missing about the fire, but like you, not sure what :s
Still, nice work - looking forward to seeing them finished
JMR:
Looks great, maybe a little darker on the edges of the flames. Your concept turned out great!Agreed with Tjub. You need to go further into the deep reds with some dark brown and black at (some) flame tips.

MadHatter:
Wow, seems to be coming out real nice. I think they will look amazing when finished!
