[Archive] Chaos Dwarf Navy

Tallhat:

I never have and never will proxy. I only play the armies that I really like and know I will enjoy for their fluff. I am a Fluff-Man all the way.

Tallhat
I mean we agree to the GW prices/marketiing by proxy by playing the game:D
With so much fluff do you store the excess in your hat to stop it going floppy:D

Canix
Yes. yes I do.

Tallhat:

Chaos Dwarf navy too Wood Elf Wardancers. Wow. I blame this on you Tall Hat!!

Pyro Stick
Sorry. But in my defense I did actually bring in the WE as an alternate source of fuel. I believe you should blame Kera for the Wardancers though I admit that I have my fair share in off-topicness as usual. :)

Xander:

Having the Chaos Dwarfs as a Naval Power really brings them into Warhammer in a big way. It gives them a method for getting around to fight the various armies, and sending home slaves!

Xander
Do you think Chaos Dwarfs do a lot of trading with armies other than ogre kingdoms or do they just go and pillage anything they need?

Willmark:

Trade? Trade? We are Chaos Dwarfs we TAKE what we want!

Sander if you look at it every nation has some sort of naval presence via MoW for one reason. A plausable explanation as to why to armies from different areas of the map would be warring. That’s they way I’ve always seen it.

minty:

I blame it on tall hat too pyro

but wood elves aren’t actualy cheesy unless the player makes them to be, neither are dwarves, as both armies have very clear weaknessess

Kera foehunter:

go a head blame me!!!. but its my topic guys. Btw thats why the chaos dwarfs have glass bottoms on there ships so the can see the elf navy.

Pyro Stick:

Kera foehunter
That doesnt make much sense. Elves dont use submarines.

Tallhat:

minty
But, But.... It wasnt me!! For once it really wasnt!!

Pyro Stick:

I can see why harvestmouse went mad at you on HoH a while back.

Pyro Stick

Navys are great for transporting your forces to slave raid wherever we please:hashut good fluff for every battle

Kera foehunter:

Pyro the elf navy sank is at the bottom of the sea.

Pyro Stick:

Pyro the elf navy sank is at the bottom of the sea.

Kera foehunter
.....oh *slaps self*. I should of understood that.

wallacer:

CD should have a navy simply for the reason that at least then when designing campaigns GW can include CD in it.

Kera foehunter:

well since there no navy we pirates will take over sweeeeeeeeet.

AGPO:

The ones I still don’t get are the Skaven and orc ships. Could the orcs really build their own craft and where exactly would skaven shipyards be?

Willmark:

The fluff is that O&G would either hack together hulks or modify captured ships. Skaven, well Skavenblight is in the middle of a swamp…

Tallhat:

I can see why harvestmouse went mad at you on HoH a while back.

Pyro Stick
Low blow. If you have a problem with me feel free to PM me. But that kind of advertising of Harvestmouse and I and our past troubles, which stem back from even before you were a part of HoH is very low. I have to say Pyro, I didnt expect that from you.

Willmark
Yeah, but a swamp the ocean doesn't make. I think they are moe likely to steal/lurk in the hold of and then take over other races ships than build them themselves

Bill-117:

As I see it, Skaven ships would be very cobbled together. With some Screaming Bells.

O&G would be the same, perhaps built in the bust of an Orc head. Wouldn’t float well, but neh. Orcs are kinda too dumb to care.

But what about Tomb Kings and Ogres? Ogres would use like big mercenary ships, I guess… TK… Ships made of bone?
