Da Crusha:
thanks guys!
yeah they sure are pretty big, I like em a lot. I just glued their arms on and I am going to start sculpting the beards and placing the heads probably tomorrow also I gotta paint my rozmax evil dwarf from troll forge he’ll be my general for the tourney coming up in…9 days:o!
Da Crusha:
so I finally completed my chaos dwarf general. check him out.

here are my blunderbuss units

Here are my musicians that I use in my cd blocks

only 2 more days until I go to dundracon and then the tournament will be on the 14th. I still havent put beards on my Bull centaur units, Im a bit afraid to try and sculpt em… well If I dont complete them then I guess Ill have to run a mean 2 earthshaker list
Loki:
Awesome models, the general looks great keep up the good work
tjub:
I love the two drummers! So cute…
Da Crusha:
dang, I didnt get around to working on my bull centaurs today so that leaves only one day til the con, I think Im just going to use the earthshaker instead. I spent like the last 8 or 9 hours sorting out models I want to sell at the con… and Im not finished :s. well at least I sprayed all my movement trays, no more bright green, so thats cool:P
Snotling:
The Lord is pretty cool. Where is it from, I remember that I saw a green for a while and I hoped, that somebody sells this mini, but I never knew…
Nice Paintjob, I like the metal tone you have in your army. But maybe you add a little highlights on the cape, it looks a little flat, imho. But in general, i cool army project, keep it up!:hat off

I did do a little bit of highlighting but perhaps it wasnt enough. maybe if I start with a darker tone like red gore and then work my way up to blood red it would probably work better.

Snotling:
Hm, you can add some thinned Chestnut Ink to wash the cape, it makes it a little darker and turnes to pinkness in some kind of skin-leather. Brown Washes work pretty fine on red parts.
Da Crusha:
yeah Im going to try to change that cape sometime in the future. just finished the tourney, I placed 10th of 21 heres the tourney results.
to win you had to beat your opponent by only 200 points, in the official rules this would still be a tie. unfortunately during the first game I played a dark elf player and lost by 240 points and the last turn I beat his hydra by 5 and it didnt break, that couldve turned the game for me.
Da Crusha:
here is my chaos dwarf scroll caddy that I used at the tournament

unfortunately I cant put him in the golden hat competition because ive already shown him painted.
Kera foehunter:
Wow !! he looks perfect !! bravo General Chaos
Da Crusha:
Thanks kera.
Now that the tournament is over its time to prepare for the next one happening in May. I think Im going to focus on a completing my Bull centaur unit and putting more paint on my hobgobbos, since I really only have brown and catachan green on them and only about half have highlighted skin. I noticed at the tournament that I got 14 out of 15 on my comp score so you know what that means… its not scary enough! I brought 4 BT and 2ES and a Great taurus, I guess I need to add some Black orcs or a death rocket to make it a little more intimidating.
Loki:
Great result in the tournament well done
scroll caddy looks great as well
Da Crusha:
thanks a lot loki
now that im looking at this closeup pic of my scroll caddy I really want to paint that belt buckle and put a scroll in his clenched hand. I did the horns and the skull about 6 hours before the tournament was going to start so it was kind of rushed since I had to go to bed, but I’m pretty happy how it came out. I wanted to distinguish him as a wizard and not just an ordinary CD warrior.
Loki:
How do think you will make the scroll , green stuff ? If your after a good scroll there is one in the hands of the dark elf bolt thrower crew which i think would work well
Da Crusha:
I got a couple scroll bits from the plague monk sprue, ill probably use those.

Da Crusha:
