I have been busy during the past week… painting the Death Korps with the washes a is blast!
Junior officer with vox operator and special weapon trooper - a heavy weapon team will eventually complete this unit.
HQ unit - regimental standard and staff troopers (I like to imagine that they actually protect the standard, not the officer gg)
Senior Officer and master vox operator - I tried to keep the decoration of the uniform to a minimum, after all Krieg officers are not fond of such fuss. But the model comes with the lanyards and medals, and frankly I’m glad it does. ^^

Hey Kera, don’t despair (or take a nap, that is) 
The uniforms were painted only with a selection the new citadel washes on white basecoat. These washes are perfect for shading minatures in a very natural way (much better than the army painter, IMO). Just have a try with devlan mud and maybe gryphonne sepia, and be excited about the results!

I have finally painted my Thudd Gun Battery. These have been standing around for 3 years now (and clam had to wait almost as long to see them - apologies mate! ;)). I tried a weathering method with oil paints for the first time, this is described in Imperial Armour Masterclass, but I find it’s not easy to master. Also my paint thinner leaves a very glossy finish which even matt varnish cannot tone down. I guess for possible tanks I will have to use a different thinner or turn to white spirit instead.

I started using this for my Space Marines a few years ago, as those damn waterslides just wouldn't fit onto the round shoulder guards. It's really easy to apply and works nicely!

Commissar.. hm. Basically I haven't planned on having one, but I agree the FW ones are exceptionally cool -- I might add one, just for added flavour and colour. :)
