well depends if its rank and file troops or characters , for the rank and file i normally paint them in blocks so it takes between 3-4 hours for me to paint 5 models would be faster but i have to wait for the washes to dry, for character models about the same time but i will be working on just that model, the whole 4000 pts army has taken me less than a year to collect, build, convert and paint, but in that time i have also painted a 2000 pt chaos daemon army and at least 1500 - 1800 pts of vampire counts not to mention odd random models that i just paint for fun, i am a bit of a speed painter, i was able to paint the daemon army to the same standard that you see my chaos dwarfs in about 2 weeks

Its is man i want to be a good painter i dont have any Chaos Dwarf miniatures but i got Dwarf and goblin BFSP and some Tyranid and space marines i havent even completed one Model my dad has promised he’d Help me but he hasent… meh i want to be a Good painter like you guys

@ Border Reiver, I take it you mean the lammasu ? if so then yes i am very happy with how it came out but just looking a the pictures i have spotted that i have not painted his eye brows whoops :sick, so i had better get the paint brush out and finish him

Loki how long does it take to become a Good painter? I’ve had my models since i was Nine and its been Four years now and i’ve only done like the outter Paint of them and i dont have any Patience

@ Patrikson It all takes time mate you cant rush painting it has to go at its own pace if you force it just will not work, i have been collecting and painting for 12 years now and its only been in the last 3 years that i have been able to combine the speed with the good painting, the dwarfs from the battle for skull pass make great chaos dwarfs with very little work so you have a great place to start already, if you need any help from any of us on the site just ask and we will give all the support that we can

Thanks mate i will try to Paint my Gobbos to make up the Slave Horde or Minions what ever they would be thank you for being Kind to me and also thanks for being a good painter i got an Image in my head of what my First Chaos Dwarf will be like when i create it. I will also try to Convert them and im wondering what is this Greenstuff i hear so Much of?

You can make anything from it check out some of the threads in the show case section and you will see some amazing work from people in there, I am very much a novice with the gs i can just about make the beards and fill gaps in models with the stuff, yes they are all push pins hats the best way to make a big hat army with out using gs to sculpt them there area few push pins hats on the site all a little different but all very cool

Your right also alot of the Chaos Dwarf things on Ebay require Paypal which i dont know how to work

Paypal is a great thing for buying online but you do need a credit card to use it, and its a must for ebay if your going to buy things off there
