They are from Eureka Miniatures, an Australian company. They are “Aurochs”. 1 Bull, 2 cows and a calf. The top of the bulls head is very close to 30mm and the spread of his horns is much the same.

I’ve just been to WinterCon 2016 in Canberra. Just lucky it coincided with a family visit. And I scored a whole heap of figures, mainly for saga and some just for fun.
Some animals, especially the lama’s and chooks. (My wife loves chooks). There is an armadillo and a turkey too.
Some miscellaneous figures I will find a use for, probably village terrain, objectives or diorama
Enough Irish hounds and wolves for a whole new warrior unit
And 30 odd Eureka Amazons. Some actual slingers, Axe-women and chariot runners from the same series as my Saga Ladies. Plus a few for fun. My wife thinks she is the girl with the towel or maybe the witch. I think she is more of the “Madam Lash”. But that’s wishful thinking.
So they’ll all get stripped and repainted soon I hope.

I didn’t get a game tonight at our club night, so i spent the time cleaning any mold lines and stuff I could find. Not many as they are pretty well made.

I also went to a small Demo-Game meeting in Canberra on sunday. It is called little wars. They had a dozen tables set up with demo-games for people to watch or join in. Donation on Entry for the’Soldier On’ Charity.
Only a couple of small stalls selling stuff but one caught my eye. They are called Slave2Gaming. a new small company here in Aus.

I bought a total of 13, a full range (1 each) selection of their Undead Samurai on foot, for no other reason than I liked them.
I’ll now have to find a skirmish game to play them in. I would’ve loved to get the cavalry too but couldn’t afford them

Those Samurai are awesome, nice pick up. I have a few Japanese themed armies I hope to get to some day. I love to paint the red lacquer of their armor.

Those undead look very cool, nice find :cheers. Malifaux has some japanese themed models which could probably be combined very well if you need fitting models for a warband.
A friend of mine once told me in SOBH (Song of Blades and Heroes?) you can play everything you like, but I didn`t try it myself.

Bid and diverse collection. I like it. Good luck on the animals and ladies. The Undead Samurai and Ashigaru (peasant soldiers) are very good models!

Did you check out the ‘Slave2gaming’ website? The undead samurai cavalry are gorgeous.
And they have a “Robin Hood / Sherwood Forest” set which were very nice as well.
The Big headed Aliens Invaders are good, just not for me. One of them (I think) has a dismembered ‘ALIEN’ as in the Lt Ripley movies on his helmet / head
EDIT - just had a look. It is the centre one of the Alien Heroes Trio. A bit hard to see on my tablet but the alien head and spine form the helmet crest and he has an alien tail as a whip.

Yep. That’s right Chooks is Chickens. You earn a Gold Star and you can consider your education fulfilled for the day.

My grandfather had some chickens as pets, they were the damn meanest animals I ever ran across.Reminds me of an episode of TBBT where Sheldon mentioned being chased up a tree by a chicken as a kid.

I had to call (scream actually) for my Mum once, because a really mean sheep had me baled up when I was in an outback dunny. (100 ft downhill from the house).
And my wifes chooks love me. I think that they think I’m the Alpha Rooster. But we won’t go there.

My father-in-law just started raising chickens (he has 8), raised from chicks. My daughter and her cousins love the chickens, and they go out and pet them and pick them up and the chickens are kind and gentle with them. I think it all has to do with how much interaction they are provided as young chicks and that they are treated kindly.
As to me, I had similar experiences with Chickens to Fuggit when my maternal Grandmother had chickens. They were the meanest birds ever.
I’ve never had a problem with any farm animal, whether it be a cow, sheep, or even ducks, but chickens seem to be the most wildly varied in disposition to me.

Got home late last night and found a present from a local club member had mysteriasly? turned up.
8 fully painted Saga Warriors. So I’ve immediately put magnets in their bases and they’re going to have to be the start of another faction.
