A lot of folks like the Doomwheel. Ideally, I wanted a couple of extras to mod my WLCs with, but they went OOP. sigh
I like the current plastics in general, but they don’t rank-up well. They’re a pain to use in practice.

Pyro Stick:
Enough Doomwheel abuse. It will probably be awesome and then you will be sorry wallacer!!lol
Im looking forward to seeing a modern take on the Vermin lord and hopefully some special characters.
slev:
I’m hoping for decent plastic Stormvermin, so I can finally afford a full-sized block of 40.
I can then round out my army & buy a nice big case for the lot of them together…

Shame about the giant hamster wheel of doom. I’d love to see some new skaven - the clanrats REALLY suck atm. The vermin lord would make an awesome daemon prince of Nurgle, or maybe a Nurgle themed Keeper of Secrets in a counts as army

Not to mention those beautiful club feet. I think most of the modeling skaven players do is giving the left (or right) foot some detail....

I would think that the absolutely gigantic hands would merit at least a mention. All of which was changed drastically with the plague monks.I like the current plastics in general, but they don't rank-up well. They're a pain to use in practice.

Weapon teams will be purchased and deployed in a manner similar to fanatics. Each unit of clanrats/stormvermin will be able to purchase a single weapon team (each version coincidentally costs the same as three fanatics).
The weapon teams are not set up during deployment, and are instead assumed to move hidden within their respective unit. At the beginning of any skaven turn, they may be placed anywhere within 1" of the parent unit and may fire on that same turn. A unit may reveal a weapon team and still charge on the same turn.
The teams themselves remain very vulnerable with a single wound and no shooting protection once revealed.

was just about to post that. It looks like they found the answer to the weapons team question. If this is true I'd accept not getting auto-hit. At least now I don't have to worry about it dieing before getting at the enemy.Weapon teams will be purchased and deployed in a manner similar to fanatics. Indeed, it means I can actually get my WFFs up-close again, which would be awesome as part of an oblique line manoeuvre!
cornixt:
It really gets me when people complain when they have only heard a tiny change to the rules, and seem to forget that there might be other changes that improve the rules.
Merchant:
Well I’ll be happy to see the Doomwheel back in an skaven army along with the Vermin Lord
Swissdictator:
Well it’d be cool to see a wrecked doom wheel with some slaves working on it trying to salvage… maybe with some flattened skaven or burned skaven (due to punishing them). Could make for a nice display base.
I look forward to fighting more ratmen.
The clanrats really leave a lot to be desired, plus packing some more per box might be good. They’re a very expensive army in some ways.
Kera foehunter:
i hope the make the rat ogre better more mutant looking
Merchant:
I agree with both swiss and you kera:
The Skaven army an very expensive army, I have played them for some years now…
And yes, it will be great to see some more “conver’da’able” things to the skaven army
Kera foehunter:
screw the skaven i just bought lizardmen army stuff
GRNDL:
@Kera
That’s the spirit!! Praise Sotek!! I’m in a weird position since the person I usually play Warhammer against is a Skaven fanatic and I’m a Lizard player and even gone so far to put Skaven trophies on a few of my Liz champs and heroes, but I really like the chaos-steampunk angle to the Ratpeeps. I even splurged on some Clan Skyre engineers and jezzails one year. But these models/army book are a long time away Kera - by the time they come out you’ll be tempted by new models, I’m sure.
Swissdictator:
I’d love to see an expanded sense of clans. Even if it’s just a few banners, or pieces of equipment. As if I ever were to do Skaven, I’d want to go Skryre, but I also don’t want to annoy everyone with all the gizmos either.
Even just some bits for banners/new shields to convey a sense of which clan they’re in would be satisfying.
Kera foehunter:
grndl i have to get one skaven. If the boat sinks the skaven would be the first to know!!
centauro enano:
Hey, if you know …
change jezzails rules?
and the bell rules?
Sorry, I read it all is difficult.
