@Skink.
He has stormvermin torso and arms (the champion parts for the arms). Head is a gretchin, the topknot is from the chaos warriors sprue. Sword on his back is from the empire knights I think.
I’ve got some more of the ‘no more nails’ glue (very strong glue you pump out of a tube for DIY projects). So now I can carry on with the bull.
The lamassu is from Raging Heroes, back when they sold the Manticore and the head together.
Skink:
@Skink....Actually as far as I know some of the Forum's rookies (sorry guys;P!) got a recast of the raging heroes lammasu head from a not-so-clear source. Also, raging heroes still sells the head slightly retouched and it's now called "Shedu Head".

Grimstonefire:
Mine was from Raging Heroes. I got the manticore + head free if you recall for suggesting it.
I was thinking only this morning that I really should get round to sculpting a rider for it.
Grimstonefire:
As it’s been a while I thought I’d give a small update (no pics).
CHAOS DWARFS
I’ve been painting up hobgoblins for the last few months, it feels like. As it stands at the moment:
2 hand weapons: 23 painted, 7 unpainted
Bows: 9 painted, 7 unpainted, 4 yet to be assembled
Wolf Riders: 8 painted. 2 unpainted
Infernal Guard: 6(?) painted, 12 unpainted/ unassembled
Bull Centaurs: 1 in the process of being converted, 2 unassembled
K’daai/ Battleragers: 1 in the process of being converted, 1 unassembled
Death Shrieker: Painted
Magma Cannon: Assembled, unpainted
Iron Daemon: Assembled, unpainted
Cinderbreath: Needing reassembly due to an accident :( Unpainted.
Lamassu: Needing a rider. Needs painting finished.
5 x hero/lord on foot: 2 painted (in need of rebasing), 3 unpainted.
Destroyer: No further on sadly.
NURGLE
In the last few weeks I have been busy painting up nurgle things;
I bought a pack of the new nurglings and will be turning the 3 bases into 6. I’ve painted one base up so far in Tamurkhan colours and they look really evil.
I’m planning to paint up the 5 bases of nurglings, 4 plague toads and maybe 10 (now old metal) plaguebearers before returning to the hobgoblin slog. Should be done in a couple of weeks I think.
I also have a load of WoC I bought recently that need stripping and reassembling. So my Woc/Doc ‘army’/ collection will be so far:
10 chaos hounds
10 plague hounds (VC wolves)
5 marauder horsemen with flails
5 marauder horsemen with hw & shield
5 or so knights
10 (metal) chosen that I will be dedicating to a god other than nurgle (or perhaps going the Undecided approach)
5 Plague Toads
6 Nurgling Bases
About 6 or so Chaos Lords/ Heroes, mounted and unmounted.
I want to get the Chaos Warriors from AoW when he finally improves production. Some new Marauders from GW soon as well.
Grimstonefire:
An update on the Bull Centaur, as I’ve been working quite a bit on him this week. Once I establish the armour design etc the other 2 will be faster.
The greenstuff shoulderpad is a bit of daemonic armour. I’ve decided that with the armour details they look a lot like the dwarf part of Chaos dwarfs, but they are lacking a chaotic feel. So each model will have some daemonic armour somewhere. The axe will probably end up being fairly mundane, but I was tempted to give him a daemonic axe as well.
The horns I will be sculpting a lot of detail on them, that’s going to be very tricky actually.

That’s amazing! Great job:)
CopperPot:
Very nice grim.
This message was automatically appended because it was too short.
Skink:
…Forgeworld, was it really that difficult?
Thank you Grim for restoring my faith in Bull centaurs. Once again your sculpting proves awesome.
EDIT: is that a Great Taurus on the chest plate? That’s impressive.
Bolg:
Thanx for sharing the WIP pic Grim, it looks great!
Remember there is not something like to many pictures so keep the updates coming (:
Zanko:
Kudos Grim! :hat off
This is the way the BCs must look! :cheers

Admiral:
That Bull Centaur is impressive to boot. I’m not sure if I dare show it to a friend of mine who have recently bought three FW Bull Centaurs, because he is not afraid to make me convert his models extensively.
To help bring forth the Chaotic, I’d have sculpted some daemonic armour just like you’re about to do, but also add an eight-pointed star of Chaos to his helmeted forehead.
Da Crusha:
Whoa sweet Bull Centaur! definitely gives it a better chaos dwarf feel. the original model fits better in a beastmen army imo.
Grimstonefire:
Cheers all.
@Skink.
Yes, it’s a bull centaur copied from another bit of armour somewhere. On the armour on his thigh area there is a chaos dwarf with a whip and a few bowing slaves. Unfortunately he will be mostly covered by that big armour plate, but that’s why the others will be quicker because I won’t spend ages sculpting things that won’t be seen much.
Mr Saturday:
Fantastic conversion, makes me take notice of the FW bull centaurs again.
Adam D:
Just curious what arms did you use for this conversion mate.
Been a while since I was able to update this. Boring real world stuff keeping me very busy.
I've been trying hard to make progress on my hobgoblins. I've got a unit of 30 with 2 hand weapons, 20 with bows, 10 wolf riders. All pretty much assembled with some requiring heads.![]()

Mildly off-topic, but did anything ever come from your Troll-Forged adventure, Grim?
