Very nice sculpting! I’d say to leave the cape as it is for painters to have a freehand area.

Lovely sculpt, Grim. I really like him. Lots of details to play with when painting. And horns sure looks great as well. You should be proud of this one, and hope that you find a way to make him commercial available to us. Even if I have to pick it up from the US
tjub:
Lovely work there Grim!
Skink:
Oh come on guys I’m starting to get sick saying all the time “nice job, well done, et cetera”!!! Do you ever make a mistake?
This is going to be the best modeled CD unit on the site. Nothing less!
Bassman:
Despite not loving your masks style I could say your warriors are great! Really clean and professional.
From the rear they are some of the best minitures ever. They reminds a little bit Roman legionaires
Grimstonefire:
“From the rear they are some of the best minitures ever!” … Is that a compliment…?
I am planning to get these posted over to Ed in the next few days. I’ll take some pics tommorow of everything. Shields are looking very nice at the moment, especially the ‘looking left’ one. Still got to make one more and touch up the weapon arms a bit.
Arms are ball and socket join but very similar in the angle of each. So whilst there will be a good mixture of weapons and the tilt of the arm can be changed a lot, they are a little limited unless people file the natural resting position off. Then people could have them any angle really.
Borador:
Haha Grim, your comment on the “from the rear” thing made me giggle
Curious to see what it all looks like together! (and dont forget a group shot, mate!) (:

Okay if we are after different responses, its very… alluring!
Grimstonefire:
No, Ed has said they will be resin due to cost.
ryanamandaanna:
just stumbled on this after being gone for a while. Looks great!!!
Grimstonefire:
Getting extremely close to done here, infact I hope to post them tommorow!
Weapon arms need some work and the shields need a handle point on the back of each.
Lord is done.
All models need a final check and perhaps brushing to get off all the tiny flecks.

Borador:
Dude!
A-MAZ-ING!
I am totally blown away man, these must be the best CD sculpts that have been made in years!
Anonymouse:
Not really crazy about the shields, but holy cow those models are looking nice! :o

When I’ve done a bit more I will take some pics of the battle standard model I’m sculpting.
It’s going to be a very nice model. He’s covered in chains.
He won’t be ready for a while yet though, I’m hopefully going to be posting off the guys above later today and the lord. So this guy will wait a few weeks whilst I get the dwarf hammerers finished.
