[Archive] Who to be the leader of the rebellion against the Chaos Dwarfs?

Henroth:

Or the leaders could have been taken out by Hobgoblin assassin's poison from the rear. It'd be hard to imagine what other betrayal the Hobgoblins could have enacted to undermine the Black Orc's plan to such a degree. It certainly wasn't a frontal assault.

Hobgoblyn
HA HA HA! :D
Other reason for the that Grimgor, and the blacks orcs in general, hate to the Hobgoblins.

Another reason I think the hatred is inbread into their fungus DNA.

Swissdictator:

Personally I think the rebel leader is still alive, in a manner of speaking.

Using some sort of spell or demon binding he’s been kept alive and healing, but left damaged enough to be immobilized.

He’s in the greatest forge amongst the molten steel, and molton who knows what else. It’s the “Eternal Sacrafice” to Hashut.

Eternal pain for the greatest betrayal.

Onii One Orc:

That’s utterly sick and twisted!

…and yet so brilliant and chaos dwarf appropriate! I love it!

Filipicusius:

That’s got to hurt…

Hashut’s Blessing:

Emperor Black Orc of the Imperium of Rebellion Guard?!?!?!?

Swissdictator:

Hashut's Blessing
Is that what happened to the guy?

Ouch. I thought it was to many Hot Pockets.

Does the not scream IG Emperor to you? lol :D

Hashut's Blessing
I'm just getting into 40k... I thought he was always immortal and just got his spleen kicked out of him by Horus...

I honestly didn't think of the Emperor when I wrote that. :o

I'm just a vile evil man.

Hashut’s Blessing:

He got kicked in and then is on a golden life support machine lol

BilboBaggins:

  1. Orcs never die because Fungus never dies.

    2. There are people who believe that the Emperor died and Horus is the one entombed as the living emperor.

    3. Where are the followers of Hashut in 40k.

cornixt:

  1. I swear you say that to annoy people like me!

    2. He certainly isn’t too far from the dark side

    3. You assume that fantasy and 40k are directly related.

Swissdictator:

In response to

1. All male dorms must be the source of all Orcs!

2. I think the Imperium is cool, but then I think the Empire from SW is the “good guy”.

3. I don’t link them, though I could see traitor chaos worshipping humans from Forge worlds having an industry god like Hashut.

So my idea of the eternally tortured Orc is cool? Sweet.

I didn't know it annoyed you so. Why does it annoy you so, are you really an Orc and don't like the Fungus reference? :)

I heard the Horus replaced the emperor story a few years ago, I thought it was funny. :hat off

According to minions in GW Warhammer Fantasy comes after 40K in the timeline. So Hashut might be around in 40K but only mentioned in Fantasy after Chaos was released onto the world by the Old Ones (*^&%&*% Lizard Gods). :hashut

Swissdictator:

One more reason to drive the Lizardmen extinct! :stuck_out_tongue:

Though, the next opportunity I get, I’m making the eternally tortured Orc for a GH or Artisan contest.

BilboBaggins:

I’ve been doing well against Lizards lately, but what will happen when the new book arrives I do not know.

My highlights have been casting Pit of Shades onto Tehenhauin (I forgot he was I6) and him promptly failing the test and being removed from the board.

Getting a Chaos Dwarf warrior unit charged in the front by Cold Ones and rear by Chamaleon Skinks and winning combat.

Godbob and his jolly rogers:

:o You make me sick :P

Well mostly the tortured Orc but now that I think about it LM being extinct although I haven't played with them for quite a few years I'm still angry ;)

I just don't like the assumption that they are related just because there are similarities. I don't mind the cross-references that GW put in each, but GW has only ever said "40K is just fantasy with laserguns".  If you managed to burn all 40k books that ever existed (not always a bad thing!), there would be no suggestion from anyone that Orcs are fungus or even plantlike. It just bugs me so much even though it is silly :hashut
