They are still frightening even tho there is this shiny blue that would let you think differently

So today I finally managed to get the base for the various dwarves. I am quite proud and think they will fit in again with the rest of the units in my growing army.
The first 5 dawi zharr of my blunderbuss troupe
My Oldhammer rocket launcher with crew. Here, too, I have placed the model on an appropriate base for protection.
And so I finally painted the first 1000 points of chaos dwarfs.

Ah yes, Forgeworld… I don’t know whether to love them or hate them. Even though there were almost no burrs on the model, the things are always warped…
Anyway, only two questions remain:
How should I paint the thing? And should I exchange the crew for models from Lost Kingdom Miniatures?

So the next 5 musketmen are close to completion, a few little things and the heads still.
The crew of the Magma cannon is also almost finished.
And here is the test for the gun mount, I’m not sure about the colour scheme. What do you think?

Hello all,
Well, I would actually like to have bigger steps to finally have the chaos dwarves ready to play at my place.
In fact, my stock of paintable miniatures from LKM for the army is slowly emptying. There are actually 2 units of infantry I still want to paint. But I’m sure the Crazy Designer will have new good ideas soon.
Fortunately, there are still some large models I want to paint and then my little treasure. I was able to get hold of a few big hats and will then also let them flow in from time to time.
But for now, here is my current section. Successful and therefore the first unit for 2022 is a squad of musket riflemen. Unfortunately, the photos are not the best.
The crew for my magma cannon is also ready.
Let’s see how I get on with the actual cannon, because at some point I have to start my contribution to the Golden Hat…
