Hmm, the idea is to send 1 package in a circle so each of us gets and sends 1 model. I start the circle and the last in line returns it to me.
But you, @Jasko and me are all in the eu, I can send to Germany for 9 or so euro and you guys both live in Germany so it will be pretty cheap. Say 6 euro. Then one of you sends the package overseas, in total it is probably somewhere around 45 euros. Total for each if us would be somewhere around 15 euro.
Everyone can do the same. Or one big pool for all and we paypal the difference.
If i had more time and more bits to make something cool and join. Sadly i have dreaded competency interviews upcoming and have to fight for the job ive been doing for over 3yrs. If you guys do an xmas one ill prob be in again. Look forward to seeing your stuff! Cheers
My model is done. The only thing I want to do is add a note with the “rules” to the package and do the wax seals on the amulet notes if the wax gets here in time…
I will post a geological grouping soon so we can all figure out how to do this. Might do it viaivste message.
Great work @MichaelX ! I am only about half way through painting my model but I will be spending some more focused time on it over this week.
Still waiting on my IPA to arrive so I can print those seals and bits for my giant for the golden hat. Oh, is there a special wax we should use for the seals? I can not say I have ever used them before, always wanted to do so but this will be my 1st.
I just used plain old resin ive used then right after printing without issues. I have varnished the last I’ve printed with a gloss coat to make it a little smoother. Ill give another update when I’ve made the seals.
I think I lost the thread at some point. Should I now paint only one emissary in total, or one for each participant (as I originally thought)? Should the emissaries all look the same or can I paint different models? What is the idea from your ( @MichaelX ) side?
Well, due to logistic issues ( and concerns from some of the others) we switched to 1 model in total. I start by sending the package with my model and 9 amulets and you all forward it with your model and one less amulet until the last in line sends it back to me with my emissary.
OK, then I’ll choose a suitable model and send it on, together with the amulets you designed! The only question is which model should I take? Difficult, difficult … I’ll have to search deep in the depths of my hobby!
