Finally decided on an idea on Monday, and 3/4 done with the build. Hoping to finish tonight or tomorrow which will give me a bit over a week to lay paint. Will be down to the wire as usual, but I would say 85-90% percent likely that I will have it done in time to enter the contest. Look forward to seeing what everyone has done!

Glad I am not the only one running late on this and cutting it close!!
I have my second giant printed (left the original on a friends grave), Undercoated and started on base colour coats, got some cool idea’s for base but nothing actually done yet and that damn clock keeps ticking!! I am also finding out 1st hand about has been said about the difficulties painting a giant, I have never painted one myself before and finding out now they take ALOT of paint lol

We can extend deadline with a week if that would help keep down stress, if this is popularly wished for. You say.

Its as much fun (probably more) hunting out some new chaos dwarf models to buy as it is putting the finished models in the glass cabinet. The bit in between is hard work!

I think I have good odds of finishing by the current deadline. Will let you know if that changes. Obviously, please extend as needed though. The more great models entered, the better.

I am almost always down to the wire on these, submitting very close to the deadline, even when I start a month in advance (I just end up biting off a bigger project). Something about my personality often finds me doing more focused work on a project with a tight deadline.

Perhaps I spoke too soon. Lost a couple of days to working into the wee hours of the morning. Finshed my build last night. Hope to get at least a base coat on tonight… though still working and its 7pm here, so we shall see.
