4-5 hour podcast videos with good back and forth is by the way exactly what I’m binge listening to at the moment (Thersites the Historian’s history podcasts on Youtube), so sign me down for 4-5 hours of Brazen Broadcast any day of the week!

New to this, but what’s the difference between GH and Artisans contests?

Generally speaking , GH is pure painting competition. Artisans is a more general creativity one. So conversions and sculpting etc. Artisans can also be art focussed as in drawing.

Main difference is when a Golden Hat comes along I’m usually like “Ah, not for me” but when an Artisan’s is announced I’m like “Oh HELL no, not for me” 
(Ironically I’m actually considering entering this GH for the first time. And I already tried entering the warmachine AC…)

These competitions definitely inspire me to make way more effort than i would normally be bothered to do.

They’re a proper community thing aren’t they. Like a neighborhood BBQ. Something that unifies us. Some of the crazier models hanve come forth out of these competitions.
No matter how bad of a painting dip i have, these always get me going again!

I saw there is a free orc stormtrooper stl out now. Change the gun for other weapons and they could be stormtroopa black orcs
