Greetings from Switzerland!

Hi there,

I’ve been playing Warhammer since 2001, from the 5th to the 8th.

I’m a Spaniard expat in Switzerland, but recently I joined a local community, Karak Norn Wargaming Club, and we are going to play a narrative campaign in 6th. I’m super excited about it.

I own several armies but in the past years I wanted to build a Chaos Dwarf army. I’ve been proxying with Battle for the Skull Pass and some conversions.

I join this community to learn, read and discuss abuot rules and painting advice.

Happy to be here,

Zambula

Hi Zambula,

Welcome to the clan! Sounds like you’re in for a lot of fun haha.

Well, you’ve picked a great time to start chaos dwarfs as I believe there have never been so many great options available to new players.

What kind of army are you looking for?

Proxying battle of skull path and conversions, it seems the mid 2000s are back !!

Glad to have you here deamonsmith :hatoff:

The classic one! I love these clumsy ugly metal miniatures. The AoS looks too modern for my taste, even if it’s great to see them back in the fields.

I plan to begin with the unique units (Lammasu, Bull centaurs) and keep building from there, as I can still proxy most of the units

Thanks!

I have that box TWICE, so feels like a waste not using them.

Besides, kitbashing dwarfs/orcs is my second best option, being the first a proper oldie

Welcome! Great to have another 6th ed player

We’ve got a few resources here for that, make sure you’re familiar with their 6th ed FAQ

And don’t sleep on DoW!

AWESOME!

Thank you so much. I was familiar with the first, but the second is gold. I like gold!

Welcome welcome! Looking forward to seeing your work. The classics never get old. If you’re interested, there will be contests coming up this year that will likely align with some of your projects! Keep an eye on website news!
