I had some big gaps too, yes. I recommend using two-part-epoxy to glue everything together. Does a nice job of filling those gaps as well. Then finish with milliput or green stuff.
Were they gaps similar to this? As itās rather worrying
Itās been a while since Iāve built mine, I couldnāt say. But across the whole army I had some gaps
I believe I had something similar (on one side of the neck)ā¦ I pinned it with two or 3 pins, put a large amount of green stuff on the body side brushed the other side with food oil and pushed them together to fill the gap. Then I cut of excess GS, removed the head and waited for it to harden. When it is set, I washed both sides with soap and luke warm water to remove any oil residue. Finishing by letting the pieces dry and then glue them together. If there are any small gaps left they can be eassily fixed with GS.
edit* It can also be worth to check if the neck is bulging too much in the middle, it might be enough to cut away some material to let the head fit more flush. I donāt recommend sanding or a dremel though because of the fumes.
Brilliant thank you for the advise! I currently have it pinned and will attempt to green stuff next, I havenāt got as far as I had wished but it is what it isā¦
So another little or maybe a big update depending on what way you look at it.
So I have managed to get the 10 ironglaives painted, I have built the others yet as I want to get the 2000pt army done first.
The death shriekers are built to an extent to where I feel it will be best to paint them at, so build but in pieces so will be assembled after.
I have pinned and started to green stuff the bale Taurus, but I can say I do not like the the current citadel green stuff in a pot, I am sure there is a use but for gap filling it definetly is not of use, so some proper green stuff has been order and some modelling tools so when I receive them I will start to fill the gaps again.
I have also had an idea for the orc war boss on wyvern but do not know how well this idea will work.
Iām thinking the forge world magma dragon if I am able to get hold of one and then do something similar to the orc war boss on maw krusha.
I feel that it is a fitting idea for this list but maybe too big again?
Also does anyone have any ideas where I would be able to get the bases I need for everything?
I do not wish to purchase the pack from the warhammer site due to the amount left overā¦
Many online FLGS offer square bases since the return of Old World. Just browse those shipping to your location. Or eBay.
Oh yeah, thatās liquid green stuff, thatās for filling tiny gaps, what you need is proper green stuff or milliput or something.
I have managed to source some bases, itās only 20 but itās a start!
I have also managed to fill the Taurus today will upload photos either today or tomorrow.
Here are the pictures from bull Taurus build so farā¦
The bull has been pinned from the head to the body both legs pinned and wings have got pins so can be removed for transportation.
The bull has all been green stuffed fingers crossed it doesnāt look to bad when sprayed.
The throne has been magnetised to the bull so easily removable and the rider has been magnetised as well.
Well done, looks good!
Iām having flashbacks of my own experience with all that Greenstuff work to hide the gaps Nice workā¦ canāt wait to see how things comes along!!

Cheers guys! Yeah itās been a bit of a nightmare building him to be honest luckily the throne hides the top part when heās on so thatās not too bad!
The two death shreikers have been scrubbed ready to be sprayed and so has the complete drazhoath model, so that is ready to be glued on the final parts before spraying.
Iāve managed to get hold of 3 un built kādaai and both of the ltd edition sorcerers. Iād love to get hold of Sharātor and the taruk also!
Does anyone own a forge world magma dragon?
So Iāve done the final assembly on drazhoath so he is not ready to go and the only part that will need gluing after painting is the rear armour plate. I have left off
the armour plates on the Taurus and the two cages as I donāt think the model needs them. I may change my mind after painting.
As previously said the kādaai are assembled ready to be primed.
One of the daemon smith sorcerers has been assembled and cleaned, for painting.
The death shreikers have been assembled also to the point of painting after from some of the handles (is that the word?) the reason for not putting them on yet is if you look at the photos they are severely warped so Iām looking at how I can alter that, any suggestions?
Also I have got 11 bases ready for painting as well just need to work out how to get the look I want. The citadel technical basing colours are a bit of a nightmare in my opinion as itās the first time of used them and didnāt expect for everything to fall off when dry the first time, so after research I realised it needed PVA gluing on the base before applying then PVA gluing after/ during the drying time.
