Ah, now everything makes sense…

Magnificent Eddysu! Well done and well painted. Clever take on the colour scheme. A most memorable miniature.
Also, you have provided me with first class inspiration for an upcoming “Lamassu with Christopher Lee’s face” that my brother and friends have nagged me about for a decade now. Thanks for that!
Obligatory question: Is it anatomically correct?
Funny thing is I always draw and sculpt people with more wrinkles and more rugged faces than they actually possess in real life. If I ever try out an Eddysu, then expect to see yourself aged at least 50 years more than in your original version.
Love the Eddysu. Lammasus are great , yours is fantastic.
This is inspirational stuff mate
Well done. Great color choices, subtle detailing, and grimdark scheme!
totally discontinued, but here i am back with som small progresses
i printed 5 hobgoblin wolfriders from fabelzel range (man those are so gooooooood!)
today i test painted most of 1, you know i’m a slow one
i also discovered checking at scythian infos, that they were the 1st police force ever, as they were athens slaves, and they would never dare to seriously injour people, also they were damn sick archers obviously (unlike our hobbo friends lol)
A red undercoat for green seems pretty weird to me but the result looks great. Now stop stroking your beard and paint the rest!
Awesome!
You know I’m unconventional on many levels xD
Allows me to leave red undertones and to tone down the greens as well
It makes some smoother transition between the pink areas and the green ones on the knees, fingers, toes, eye sockets and so on
I’ll take some proper pics once finished, you’ll see it better there, I promise!
Oh, that’s nice!
Hashuts Hobgoblins!
Nice to see that you’re finally painting some true and proper Warhammer troops, not those wussy Sigmarines.
Very interested to see the red undercoat, never would’ve occurred to me, and damn it’s effective
Really liking how the tones come out with the red undercoat. Tried something similar with blues and greens under tanned fleshcoats some years ago in an attempt to do something Frazetta/Vallejo-esque. Was not a success at the time, but perhaps time to try again.
These are so good, both painting and models! Just need a bit more hobby time för a 5-6th Ed Chaos Dwarf army with @Fabelzel stuff…
You may be slow. But what results! Beautiful painting.
Slow and steady wins the race.
Beautiful details and colors…I love your ability to perfectly blend warm and cool colors, it’s a perfect balance.
Well done (and of course wonderful choice of models too)
Awesome, everything!
Sculpting by @Fabelzel , painting, basing…everything
First thing in order @Uther.the.unhinged @Fuggit_Khan @Bassman thanks guys! Idk if in my case slow and steady wins anything, but at least gives me the time to work a bit more on the details unlike someone with the rush of painting for playing the game xD
Then this! This was supposed to be my golden hat entry, but due to Covid I didn’t have the access to the 3d printer, I mixed some Fabelzel models with some minor things I made and this was happening for a bit
It’s supposed to be a bull dressed up as a wolfrider xD with the toy wolf like those kind of costumes
Idk how readable was it, but didn’t have the time to re print it with some corrections due to poor supports
Oh well, atleast you have here those pics! Ahhahaha
Hilarious idea! It looks great. Shame it didn’t make it for the GH. Will you go ahead with this project? I’m sure it would look glorious printed and painted
Probably yes, the idea was to add him into the hobgoblins unit previously shown, as hidden member, a boss, a wannabe, an enthusiastic one like Fuggit is xD
I printed the model already, but came out flat on couple of spots, also it needs refinement because it’s bit too messy.
It’s not good when you are not able to read the model immediately
