Actually I’m probably gonna keep those ones specifically. The chonkternals are the elites with the lion breastplates. As a man of width myself I can’t allow it in my minis.

Fair play, my mistake, I don’t know their army-list well

I’m at a loss as to how are we ever supposed to learn all the unit names- tactical marines they ain’t

They need to be old world ended asap! Bring back warhammer fantasy!!

Pity there arent hobbos with bows in the box, they would be more useful to me

Incase anyone wants to know how they look ranked up.

oh well, not half bad! due to their body being a single sculpt, it’s should be farily easy to rank em up!
thanks for the info!

No problem! They rank up very well overall, some nudge each other a little, but that’s the worst of it.

Just be aware that the pegs for some of the holes are a tiny bit too long, and need trimming or at least a dry fit to be sure first.

And for those who want to see how they stack up to their ancestors

Not too bad, not at all! Slight scale creep but nothing that can’t be fixed with a rock to stand on.

That looks pretty good to be honest. :hob2020:

Oh, and welcome aboard @Troll-Knoll!

Grrat photo cheers. Seems the head podition makes them slightly taller. Bring the head down a bit makes them more hunchback like. The faces look pretty similar to. Welcome to cdo!

To me they don’t seem taller but as @Zoddtheimmortal said, they seem to stand up more straight they the others. I wouldn’t really mind all that much as it’s only a minor difference.

Excellent!
They really are to old Hobgoblins what (especially) LKM Chaos Dwarfs are to Big Hats: An evolution from the slightly cartoonish interpretation to a grim version.

They definitely aren’t as hunched, are they?

I actually really like them. For my ‘slightly’ cartoonish CDs these might act as a nice grim dark counterpoint
