Next up ( and last post for a while as I am going away for week) is my chaos dwarf slayers. They are in the Realm of Chaos Book, and for 9th age I am going to use them as Immortals .

So I didn’t do any conversions , appart from a little tweak to the banner bearer.
The models are all the marauder troll slayers and some giant slayers as well - yes I love marauder miniatures .

I tried to make them look like chaos dwarfs by painting them with a pallid skin tone and giving them white eyes , rather than a normal eye. Hopefully gives them a mad look.

Which models do you want to use? Only 3rd edition CDs or alternative models?
Happy to use any models really, as long as have the old chaos warrior style.

@Zanko awesome collection you have btw. Do u have many of the citadel chaos dwarfs (i.e. not marauder minis or the chaos dwarf renegades)?
I own from the 3rd edition of Citadel the Renegate box (2x), all MM90, all war machines (except the original AssCannon) and almost all regular CD models (I would have to check which models I am missing).
Furthermore all models from Sjoerdo, all Darkling Games Miniatures, many models from Clam, the Ral Partha series … and many more. In addition, a lot of conversions and simply CD painted models.
In my blog (in the first posts!) you can see all models, but because of the arrangement in regiments it is difficult to really see all models.

@mr_hayward I enjoy your pics but I can’t help but wonder if you might have an overall picture? One that shows the entire force?

@MichaelX I am working on it. I want to get the composition sorted first, before I post a whole army pic. The army won’t fit in my lightbox so need to get a mat then backdrop painted.
I do struggle taking decent photos (my phone isn’t great) and often the pics don’t do the paint job justice.

Thanks @Sjoerdo , thry arrived a couple of days ago . Great models in the old school style.
Been doing some sculpting and scratch built modelling recently. Working on my Chaos Dwarf Juggernaut/ infernal Badstion.
I made it out of foam board , bolserwood, McDonald’s coffee stirrers roughed up with a dremel and super glued it to wooden kebab skewers for the structure.
Rivets are vallejo sand paste applied with tooth pic (which was a nice quick hack) and decorating with oldammer shields. Last up is finishing the green stuff sculpted skull on the front and finishing minotaur head battering ram ( not a cannon like Juggernaut)

Absolutely gorgeous. This is really nice.
Looks great! Im itching to build something out of sprues. Are you going to glue figures in? I think it looks better but then you need more cds- never a bad thing!
