Incredible army you got there…Loving all your miniatures¡
Inspired by some of the golden hat entries earlier in the month I’ve been working on something new…something big !
Currently unfinished but here’s a little teaser…
Nice!! Look forward to seeing the whole model.
Ive never seen that battle masters goblin or that rubbish old orc painted so well. Brilliant paint job . V nice
sacrelige!
I happen to love those old sculpts in all their undetailed cartoony goofiness haha
Cheers though - enjoyed breathing new life into them
Love that free hand, the skull is impressive but the goblin shield is my favourite, such a great idea!
Awesome looking army!
Wow really striking army. The cd dreadnaught thing is great. Love it. I cant paint red. Never seems to work v well for me.
Orange edge highlights was a game changer for me. Couldn’t get it right but that had helped me make it pop.
Looks great! The background and the effects is a really cool addition as well, brings it up another level…
Nice looking army. I’ve found red takes a bit of work to make it pop. ‘Two thin coats’? No, more like four or five sometimes, of course this is after a red basecoat followed by all the ink washes I use. Although with advent of Grey Seer undercoat and Contrast paints, I can make things go a lot faster and get troops to the table. Contrast Medium is a tool I’m starting to figure out, and man oh man is it nice. I also use Troll Slayer Orange to do edge highlights.
Yes @GIronshield contrast is my friend in this project. Wraithbone spray, flesh tearers red does the legwork. Then evil suns Scarlett later and troll slayer highlight.
Astounding force! Wonderful picture there with it all together.
Awesome looking army!
Awesome army shot!
For the sake of completeness : here is the flying siege engine I created for the artisans contest which has now joined this merry band of evil stunties
Insanity takes to the skies. Glorious! Scale the walls by flying over them.
Just beautiful work.
Absolutely stunning. Love it.
Only just noticed the spider head
Again amazing piece of art. I noticed the Orc in there, is this somewhat inspired by a certain incredible piece of John Blanche art?
