I’m starting to pick up painting again after about 2 years of little to no painting.
Hope to fine a proper pace again. I’ve started painting my chaos warriors a while back and decided it was time to finish them, and the second unit.
I’ll be working on a bunch of marauders next.
Meet Rukhad the Unbound’s Bloodshard Horde, or not yet a horde really.. but it will be!
I shamelessly used @GhraskDragh ‘s colour scheme as a base, and made a lazy effort to mimic it, and went from there. Look up his lovely chaos dwarfs if you haven’t

I think when ranked up these may be some of the nicest units around and you’ve done a banging job, I really like the banner with the eye 
How does it feel getting back into the groove? That’s a decent amount of models to come back with fair play

Honestly it feels great to shrink the gray pile. I’ve missed painting and im happy to come back to traditions like Hobby Hangouts on discord.

Heres the big unit of chaos marauders I’ve painted. One step closer to no gray pile AND one of each army!
Currently also finishing up 5 marauder horsemen (7th Ed), those will be up shortly

I have a soft spot for that old ram skull atop the banner, funny the things nostalgia latches onto. Excited to see more of the horde take shape. The different bright banners popping out will be fun to see as the army comes together. Just like many tribes coming together for a good ol ravage.
