Nothing against your list Misio, but who broke the rules to let slaves run without Chorf enforcers? I know it’s legal, but it feels lore broken…
Just my opinion, not meant to insult anyone…

Chorfs are smart. They fight their wars with others’ hands. There is just one Castellan to supervise those slaves. Of and there is an Iron Daemon driver!
I have been using Blunderbussess as my core infantry BUT this is way overpriced. I do have a version of that list with Ironsworn but I do not have them painted yet (just got AoS Infernal Cohort models to build and convert!)
Maybe with the new renegade devastator … their price tag is way more reasonnable. Let’s wait and see the final draft
Today I used this list. I wanted to try triple T7 build with prophet and two iron daemons. I also used infernal guards with fire sticks and they menaged surprisingly well - with castellan, they killed a giant and won combat vs black ork warbass on wyvern!
Overall list working well by killing some stuff and not giving points.
There is option to change infernal guards and castellan to black orks with warboss, but I’m not sure what is stronger.

Castellan + Vembrances + Great weapon ? That’s S8 right here right ?
Looks like a very strong list. I’ll be sure to take some inspiration from it.
Yup. He has also option to use shield if needed so he has 2+ armor save and -1 to hit. What hurts it’s only WS6. This build works best when he fights with something with equal or lower WS so -1/-2 (with storm of ash) to hit is most valuable.
Last battle he held black ork warboss with gw and triple save in challenge. With storm of ash from prophet, he lost only 1 wound. Infernal guards gave enough static CR so I won combat. They also killed a giant in one turn but it’s another story ![]()
Od new Renegade pack official??
Noo, it’s not. We are playing draft only when opponent agree. There is a chance we accept it in our community, but we need to test it at first.
This is what I fear. Changes are very extensive. They might not be accepted by the community as a whole.
It will be case by case I guess, in my local scene some VC player very vocally said they wouldn’t play the new draft for VC.
Because it’s a nerf, that’s why ![]()
It’s generally very good question. Are draft changes gone too far in Your opinion? I mean in CHD list and others.
From my side I appreciate more variety in list building.
New Heroes are wierd but I do like changes to Centaurs.
Decimators are interesting too..l like them. Spadły no banner option.
VC for nerfed do I can see why people objects lol im generał this is how it is going to be…
Shields on IS or BO - Parry with pull plate+ shields does nothing so I guess the idea is to get 3+ save va shooting, right?
Charging with Taur’ruk - he is like a skirmish model? We pivot him into direction of a charge and then measure the rolled charge distance?
Is a wizard better than combat flying hero?
Is lammasu’s beard not a better option with 2 Iron daemons? This list looks like one with slow, deadly błocko with IDs on flanks. Extra ward feels great.
Yah just against shooting. Similar to black orcs here.
And yes 360 change for the Taur’ruk which is Very gooood!
Wizard is more versatile option for sure. He can be usefully in many ways, I mean support spells, magic missiles, -ld hex vs big infantry bricks, war machines reroll (in 18 inches!). In combat he is ok. With daemonic vaesel even very good.
Combat character is good… In combat. And that’s it.
To take lamasu beard banner I need to take Infernal Ironsforn in place of Infernal guard, but it’s impossible with prophet as a general. Other option is to change castellan to despot bsb with beard banner but it’s much worse combat character.
What I ment is how You measure distance when You charge. You pivot, then measure charge distance? His base is not square…
With new chanelling rules a caster can be a better option with Storm of Ash! Unless he just… Explodes.
Ah yes I know what you mean now. I play it that way where he can effectively get a bit of extra distance from the rotation if you think about going from 25mm to 37.5mm from the centre comparing short vs wide directions of the base. I usually bring this up with the opponent and see what they’re comfortable with before you roll it.
