ZODDs Realm of Chaos(-dwarf)

Spent a few hours yesterday arranging a shelf of chaos dwarfs, probably about 1/4 of my painted chaos dwarves. Thought id share a picture:

This is most of my macrocosm, gw and cp model stuff. No space for centaurs or war machines or hobbos.

Sorry, I was thinking of those a bit up. These ones.

Yep, maxmini. They do a whole range of hob goblins, they call them goblins though

Thanks!

*Edit: Your paintjob is way nicer than the box art.

That is a truly outstanding looking collection, you must be proud everytime it hits the table!

Love to see the helm love as well, truly the greatest form of chaos dwarf but dont tell anyone else i said that

How big is the base that you’re using for that macrososm juggernaut? ( i assume its there’s)

Thank you very muchkharrdruk! Sadly ive only played 2 games with my chaos dwarves. I tend to use my plastics more as they can handle the foam case better. I need to play more games…big time!

The base for the macrocosm juggernaut was stolen from the ogre stonehorn/thundertusk kit- same size as the aracknarok one. I need to get a few more bases like that.

Ive spent the last couple of days on this beastie :cd1980:

I have that Troll model + his kin with the pistol. They will make an appearance in my army at some point. Great sculpts and you’ve done the model justice with that paint job! Catching up on your blog. Some great old school style models, and very well painted. Really like your version of the general Kael CD from a few months back as well!

This one? I went looking for all trolls on ralpartha, i didnt realise they had so many. This one is nice, could pass as a demon or a chaos ogre too.
Cheers for the compliment, i look forward to seeing your versions of the trolls.

This guy actually. Tim Prow sculpted both originally. There’s another version with just bone clubs out there:

The model was originally the Tim Prow troll miniature with bone clubs released by Heartbreaker, and was rereleased by Impact Miniatures with a resculpt of the upper club (by Chris Bledsoe) into a pistol. Picked it up in a KS several years back. Cheers!

So in my mind i wanted to do a rock of ages theme. Year 2000 all the chaos dwarf musicians were drummers (pants) but 38000 years later they had transformed into musical weapon guitars, and sonic voices and dj beats.

I finally found a good reason to paint up the tjubling musician that i got from my bronze prize years ago. He is a chaos gnome now
Plus my 1st ever big hat!
I had to go for colours noone would ever conceive as well. An army that colour probably wouldn’t work though?

Also i use every excuse yo paint up jacs meshmixer range…love them

Great to see a big hat from you! Incredible work as always. I’ve seen a similar scheme on Instagram recently and it looks really good on a full unit!

I need to google what nominus malus (edit a type of tree? Lol not what i was expecting) means. But it seems fit that they are followers of malal.
Some heroquest themed warriors and a barbarian halfling.
A bit pic heavy, sorry.

Absolutely beautiful.

This is what ive been working on over the last week or so:

Finding some excellent helm crew stls on cults3d really allowed me to bring this project to life. The ogre is from ralpartha (these are really good value btw).

THAT Earthshaker! It looks gorgeous and fit perfectly to this range of Evil Dwarfs. Love it!
