I finished the last of sjoerdos 8 c. Dwarves, so i thought id post a picture of my interpretation of them
I also painted this guy who i guess could pass for a general on a taurus or a sorcerer on a lammasu. Pretty good model for £10. This is the only mounted chaos dwarf helm model i know about that is available to buy. If anyone knows of any others, please tell, i have an old manticore and a cockatrice that could do with a rider.

Thanks v much. I was painting the wall behind with paint/pva but ran out at about the level of the tray of models. So moved onto something else…
With the dark mornings and dark at 4 its getting hard to paint stuff in ideal light.

The rider comes with the dragon from westwind. Sadly i dont own any of clams models

So here i present my unit of hobgoblins from grenadier. I think the models fit the part with their height, skinny faces, hair, downtrodden and scavenged armour. I finally found a use for the pony cart as a useful unit filler too :13:
I struggled with the flat unadorned shields, really didnt know how to highlight/shade them.
And lastly during my exhausting search for suitable chaos dwarf models i came across this cool little slave driver guy. Bet hardly any of you have see this guy before (except zanko, he appears to know them all…)

That slavedriver model looks very cool (I for one have never seen it before), and the colour scheme you chose really makes it shine. Great work! :21:

I’m afraid I’ll have to pass on that this time. I have never actually seen the slaver. Which company is it from? From the style, I would have guessed Macrocosm, but I’ve never seen it on the website.
Btw. a hobgobin unit worth seeing and you also did a great job with the slaver, great colour choice.

So it is on the ral partha europe website, but it isnt under dwarves or chaos dwarves. It is in a weird menu like adventurers or something. I was drunk searching for stuff as usual, found it and thought …cool…
Then passed out and had no idea what site or where id seen it, so had to search various websites again and finally buy it.haha
( this happens a lot to me on youtube too: finding great music i want to get but forgetting it entirely come the morning)

2 of my latest ebay wins. I was thinking of trying to make a chaos dwarf with wings after oxymandius’s envoy exchange with zanko.
I did wonder what the weird spikes were pertruding out the bearded guys back when i bid on him. Turned out to be wings! :17:
Chaos dwarf with magic carpet and a deathwish coming up :13: a great weapon would have been nice on him but im not cutting up models from 1985
I couldnt find photos of the winged guy painted on the internet anywhere. Maybe he isnt that popular, who knows…

I also have the winged CD, which I positioned on the base (in the tree). I thought that was quite appropriate, under the airship.
Even if it is not so easy to see in the photo.

Hehe that is very cool. The model as a whole and the little dwarf in the tree. What does the airship count as in game? A juggernaught or collosus?
When I build that model the idea was to use it as a K`daai. But now I would use it as a Kollossus.
