The winged dwarf reminds me of brian blessed in flash. Great film.

Thanks man. Much appreciated :13:
Back is wrecked from painting too much ( being bent over too much) over 200 cds since april. Never painted so much ever. Chaos dwarves are the best army to collect/paint :17:

Lovely daemon cannon, and a great addition to your army. I really like the look of the little Death Mage - he looks as if he’s going to open his cloak and ask if you wanna buy some magic stuff :01:

Apologies for the spam but i think im posting something a little bit out there…haha

Very bad light for photos but maybe my best centaur yet and a very old school-looking demon!

Not really sure what id use him as, a unit filler currently but maybe one of those lesser fire demon guys if i can find a few more classic demon looking models to match in ( please recommend any companies that do suitable stuff).

Can you post some more pics of the centaur?!

hello, what brand is the devil with the mower. thank you, greetings and happy new year everyone

Macrocosm, are you tempted?

Initially i wanted to put a bull centaur pushing it but changed my mind

It is a very successful option, it gives a lot of personality to the whole. Chaos Dwarves can enslave all manner of creatures from the underworld to push their artifacts. Thanks for the input

Very interesting read. How you started from humble beginnings, ending up creating a whole range of chaos dwarves on macrocosm. Ive bought the lot!

Id love to see an army shot of all your painted cds together, im sure it would be a spectacle!

The last picture shows by struggle to get the right centaurs for my army. The lost kingdom ones are too delicate for my liking. The minotaur centaur was 2x the size i was expecting. The grenadier ones arent dwarfy enough. The mantic ones and my hodge podge conversions will have to do :17:

The Bull Centaur troop already looks very impressive! :26: Very cool! :metal:

Fantastic centaurs! Both painting, obviously, but also eclectic mixture of miniatures. I love it, looks very Chaotic.

Perhaps the Lost Kingdom ones could be bulked out with some choice placement of armour plates and extra muscles in green stuff? Or are the weapons and horns too thin for that to work? Just an idea.

Cheers

Ive reattached the tails after transit. The weapon hafts are very thin/weak as are horns teeth etc. The legs definirely need bulked out a little, the additonal plates is a good idea, however my skills with greenstuff arent good yet. I guess ill put them to the side until i can do them justice oneday (maybe) haha.

The reality is : im hoping someone maybe even from here sculpts and casts a bunch of old school style centaurs or even just the lower body/ legs and a bunch of us old school 3rd edition enthiasiasts smile with satisfaction every time we look at them : )
Its going to happen…one day :17:

A very interesting story @Sjoerdo, thanks for sharing! It’s inspiring to see the start of your sculpting journey. Kudos for pulling off such an excellent cloak on your first dwarf! :21:
