I don’t have a lot of bought dwarfs.
Here’s a picture witha dreadquake mortar crew member, Hellcannon crew member and bazooka team member from admiralty miniatures.

Thanks for the comparison photo, your printed models fit perfectly!
So… not 3d printed but the Hellcannon triggers some serieus happy sentimental feelings since it is one of the first models I ever painted. Having 3 painted ones just makes me so happy.
I have to matte varnish them and then they are good to go!
My usual gaming buddy will hate me!
Looking great all lined up… wouldn’t like to be on the opposite side of that table :26:
Allright, small update. I finished 2 Deathshrieker rocket launchers the other day.
And today i painted a magma cannon from start (priming) to finish (except for a quickshade)
Next up… maybe a unit of dwarfs again… who knows.
Hi @moderators, is this very potato picture and list enough for the 1k army badge?
It’s a valid, though pretty bad, list.

I do believe it is. @Oxymandias or @Loidrial , we call upon your technical insights.
I’ll update the badge now @Admiral
Keep the 2k warm… it won’t be very long
Thank you!
About that… does the army need to be fully painted and could I say use a Ass Cannon for a Hellcannon?
Also are we using battlescribes Warhammer Fantasy 8th ed v9 to calculate?
You can read about requirements here.
https://discourse.chaos-dwarfs.com/badges
I aim for warhammer 8th because that’s what I’m building for.
@Deebo here are the rules for 1K badge:
1000 Points of Army
The Points of Army medals come in six flavours: Blackshard, Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. To obtain each one, you must have the requisite number of points made, painted and posted. It is generally easiest to collate a thread with this and include an army list. Lists accepted in order to claim medals are: Legion of Azgorh (8th ed. Warhammer), Abyssal Dwarfs (King of Wars 2nd ed.), Legion of Azgoth (Age of Sigmar, free point list on Forge World website) and Infernal Dwarfs (9th Age, free through 9th Age website). The armylist must be rules legal and may include approiate proxy models. This makes it easier for staff to check, but they need to be notified and sent a link of where to find the army. Bronze is for 1,000 points, Silver is for 2,000 points, Gold is for 4,000 points, Platinum is for 6,000 points, Diamond is for 8,000 points and Blackshard is reserved for the most epic of Chaos Dwarf armies at 10,000 points!
So as long as it meets those standards its fine. Regarding asscannons - we are very leniant here with “counts as” as we are all creative modellers. So have the asscannon count as something legal from one of those systems and it will be fine ![]()
I plan on using both my arse cannons as hellcannons. Better and more amusing models in my opinion at least. Im building my army on that fanmade? 8th edition list. It has everything in it and seems very well balanced and thought out. Most importantly it has juggernaughts in it…
@Zoddtheimmortal
WHOA!! Did you just say Juggernauts??? May I please have a link?
I would love to have a read through those rules and test it out
Don’t know if this is the one he’s referring to or if he was referring to TommyH’s, but you can find one here at the Warhammer Armies Project along with lots of other niche armies:
Yep thats the one. Only difference i notice is - medium armour is 5+, heavy is 4+. Ive made similar army lists with ravening hordes and the armie project one. Very comparable. You get less with the latter but slightly better armour. Sorcerers are betterin close combat but miscasts are scary. Flip me we hath hijacked michaels blog!!
Michael thats a lovely photo, looking great with the castle in the background with amazing backdrop. However the zoom was unfulfilling. Id love to see close ups of each unit if you are willing. Your army is very unique since you have printed it yourself.
Hi, yeah I know.
I have this chroma key app that works great but for some reason does not use the hi res camera on my phone.
If you only want a few models of each unit you can checkout my insta. Otherwise I will shoot some pics when I have some spare time.
Magma cannon
Taur’ruk
Hobgoblin khan
Hobgoblin archers
Hobgoblin Spears
Hobgoblin wolfriders
Deathshrieker rocket launchers
On there are also pics of my lizardmen, of you want to see more. Some are very grainy, I should really get out the dslr to retake these some day but… ah well…
Cheers. The big bull centaur looks great! The bases are also really good tying everything together well. A chaos dwarf army without chaos dwaves haha. Painting thegreenskins was the hard part. I know the pain full well doing massive gobbo units of 100. Now you can have fun with the cds.
That was the idea, get the goblins out of the way first, then some war machines, now some dwarfs.
When all is painted I will print more gobbos (dual hand weapons) and
dwarfs but I really have to keep my painting somewhat in sync with the printing.
