ZODDs Realm of Chaos(-dwarf)

Great interpretation of a Juggernaut rider, love it! :hatoff:

My chaos dwarfs have been making advancements in technologies recently, with a few ideas in progress. Here is the latest:

The steam golem or colossus? Maybe even a kdaii champ proxy leading some demons

I was off work last week abd got the following painted:

I also did a little boar centaur conversion. Id like to do more of these.

Zodd is a pastel color wizard. You need lots of training, patience, talent to copy this! A couple of beers might help too

ZO-AT the demon centaur
This model deserves a better painter tbh. The textures are all over the model that an expert would love. Eddie should paint one of these up. Even so im still happy how it came out. The blue is nice teal colour
in real life.

Im thinking of all the random demons in beserk and thinking something like that instead of boring fire kdaii

Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated!
The pink colour scheme is simple. Emporers children pink, nuln oil, emporers children pink again then highlights with progressive amounts of white added. Orchear and use a couple of lighter shades of pink that arent too far off

One of the new weapons teams by osm. Very nice model. I was little confused as to how i should paint the gunners face

My recent progress has been a little random, in and around the artisans entry.

More malal followers, still a long way from getting a full regiment of warriors yet.

2 more immortals, im out of the gw cw monoposers now though

The longest unit to paint for a long long time…up to 12, need at least 8 more

The faceless disc rider is my favourite of @Reaver brazen bastard sculpts so far. It was a little tricky to think of a good colour scheme for him. I went with purple and bone in the end

I painted the original chaos champion guy 10-15yrs ago. Sadly i lopped off his head. Here he is for comparison

The disc has more of a face than the rider

15 years apart…but such consistent basing!!! Well done.

I think you definitely have a great eye for the ‘oldhammer’ feel.

Porkos petulant swine patrol

My bronze entry in the latest artisans (thankyou everyone that voted for my entry, much appreciated). I thank cornixt for his amazing work on some of these.
I went full centaur as you might be able to tell, centaurs are right up there as maybe my favourite unit.
The question i cant answer is which one is porko? Is it the gold osm one or is it the macrocosm/diehard one?

For my zhanta envoy i had to decide between an existing model or create my own. I think one of the best things i have created were my immortals made from monopose chaos warriors.

I tried to create the best slambo cd version i could and eventually created 3 different versions, all have slight flaws, howeverthe 1st one (posted above) turned out the best. The other 2 have been inducted into the rank and file of the immortals.

The other had slight issues with elbows made out of knees or gaps filled with greenstuff

Lovely conversions and lovely paint schemes. They really fit together!

Cheers drexxl!

My entry in eddies contest also fits in with my chaos dwarves.

The idea behind this is that eating the chaos demon fruit could gift the bold with new abilities and mutations but could also bring terrible consequences including death. A triumphant chaos dwarf received wings, the best mutation you can get, another had been transformed into a very frail and sick looking demon. The wheelbarrow guy is game though!

Ive been experimenting with the AK streaking grimes introduced by oxymandias.

Im glad to get the hobgrots finally up to 30 strong, they were definitely faster with the grime.
Im not sure pinks purples and blues are ideal for the grime but still work ok.

Using the grime i painted the chaos dwarf plague bearers very quickly indeed, they are perfect for this method.

Always great to paint up some mm90s to add to a now 50 strong chaos dwarf unit

I love this…actually I love all your work. You didn’t mention One Piece, but I get the reference. I love those shields/fruit too…but they’re super pricey.
