The quality is great on these minis, and painting their bright colours is loads of fun! I’m used to painting my minis in dark and subtle colours, so this is a nice departure.
A local store has put out a challenge to paint some Star Wars Legion models. I’ve bought these models somewhere at the start of the lockdowns back in 2020, and I really needed a deadline to paint these because I hate painting the white armour…
Bought and added to the pile: 50
Printed and added to the pile: 0
It’s hard work to keep up with the administration of this project… ;p
Just like GhraskDragh I couldn’t resist picking up some Walking Dead figures after the anouncement that the game is officially dead…
The Governor/prison arc was my favorite in the comic, so I really needed him to complete my collection. And who can resist a wall of aquariums filled with zombie heads?
I now have way too many boxes of Walking Dead stuff, and not a single mini painted… Might be a good one for this project.
Also forgot I printed out a couple of Clone Troopers, so I added them to the tally…
Bought and added to the pile: 67 (+17)
Printed and added to the pile: 2 (+2)
If they didn’t count you could game the system by getting other to buy stuff for you while, totally unrelated, you buy things for them they want which coincidentally cost the exact same ammount.
There was a sale on some Marvel Crisis Protocol stuff, so I recieved a couple more figures:
And I found this cool Malifaux figure:
But… I also finished up the scenery from the MCP starterbox
And I painted the Taco Truck from the Deadpool set I recieved this week!
So that puts my counter to:
Bought and added to the pile: 95 (+9)
Printed and added to the pile: 2
Painted models: 14
Painted scenery: 21 (+4)
Current Score: +62 (+5)
Up next I need to finish some more Star Wars figures for the painting challenge from the local store, so I hope to lower my score a bit before the end of the month
